How to change xref VP color if object color is not set to by layer, if we use xrefoverride command as you explained in your tutorial linetype will also change, I want to change only object color not object linetype. Is there any other option to change only object colors

XREF OVERRIDE worked for some of the layers, but not all of them. Any additional tips?

How to come back to original color settings without reattaching that xref?
It seems to be impossible, right?
Set VISRETAIN to 0, reload the XREF, reset VISRETAIN to 1.
