- Welcome to Movie Shortens. Tom Ripley borrows a Princeton jacket to play the piano at a party. When the wealthy father of a recent Princeton graduate approaches Tom, he pretends to know the son and is soon offered $1,000 to travel to Italy to persuade Dickie Greenleaf to return home. In Italy, Tom befriends Dickie and Marge, Dickie's girlfriend, pretending to love jazz. Tom's talents include impressions and forgery in addition to lying, so when the handsome and confident Dickie tires of Tom and dismisses him as a bore, Tom decides to kill Dickie in a cruel way and commits other crimes, but no one knows!

He just had to kill the best thing to ever happen to him, because he realized that Peter would never love him if he saw the demons in his basement. This is absolutely heartbreaking. But like... Yeah, he could probably cope with homophobia pretty fine after all he's been through.
This movie is amazingly brilliant, It’s mysterious, unpredictable and absolutely uncanny and the acting is incredible👍
