i work at big als, just because we stock the stuff with margins doesnt mean we push that stuff, i always guide people to the proper equipment and supplements for their tanks
@@jasoncolliver3648 not really we have a ton of shelf space, things we dont stock like apex units for example tend to collect dust on the shelf heck radions and ai primes are a tough sell for my customers because we get a lot of beginners through our doors who arent ready to spend on the proper stuff, 90% of my customers are suburban families looking for starter tanks for their kids bedrooms or people new to the hobby entirely with a budget under $1000, about 10% are experienced hobbyists who ask for this stiff and we order it in for them. granted there are lots of products i wish we could carry but being a franchise we have to order from the head office where they decide what product to make available

From my experience it's a great product but it does raise the nutriants, if your a newbie or have little stock in your tank hold off on it untill you have things stable as it can cause you other issues of your not careful, the UV reactive dye they add that turns the water green and is useful for seeing the flow from your pumps to see if you have dead spots in your tank or low flow to corals for an added benefit to using it, aminos are also good to add a few drops to your frozen foods to give your fish, nems, corals abit of extra goodness
I also feed RS AB+…. Question, I turn off my return pump when feeding this, then turn on my wave makers so it distributes throughout, would you recommend me continuing this process? I tend to leave it just with wave makers on for about 30 minutes after dosing. It also says to dose every day, I only dose it 2 a week.
I dose AB+ daily from 6 can Amazon refrigerator, with a hole cut in for does tube and air pump,/ air stone, mix about 2 min before does. Skimmer off for 30 min after does. 500 ML bottle fits in Amazon refrigerator,
I have a Fluval Evo with only filter floss and marinepure media gems for filtration, no skimmer or external powerhead. Can I leave the return pump on while dosing or will the floss remove the beneficial ingredients in this product?
I dont add any supplents and also dont get fast growth! I id use this for a while and found it did up my nutrients! Is there another brand or a supplement I can dd for faster growth, better coloration and not raise nutrients. Ihave nano tanks so no refugium or anyway to really keep nitrates down!
I used that before the Red Sea AB PLUS, I saw a huge difference when I switched , my corals did not respond to the brightwell aminos, I used it for 5 months and saw no results then I switched to Red Sea and saw results in a mere 3 weeks
Bought a fluval flex sea 32.5 I’m going to keep torches hammers zoas acans and bounce mushrooms. What’s the best nano power head for random but gentle flow for the fluval tank? I’m going to be running 2 AI prime 16HD’s. Also what filtration are you using on the fluval flex…?
grab an AI nero 3 it runs off the same app as your primes and honestly is really easy to program, plus they come with a nice little fish guard for the back of the pump to keep little guys from getting sucked in
You guys seem great but here’s some constructive criticism: watch a Tidal Gardens video. The guy is super calm and sticks to the subject. In your video, you’re trying to hard. Too many unnecessary words. I don’t need to hear about profit margins and why you won’t carry a product for that many sentences. It becomes redundant. I just want to hear about the product.
I recommend turning off the skimmer as the bottle suggest, it wasn’t mentioned. Great video!

That may be true, but it does preclude you from offering shelf space to products without the same high margins which may be superior.

I have noticed if you feed at night it take longer the water to clear up

You need to try Reef Zlements Amino acid. The impact on the corals is night and day compared to AB+. Enjoyed the video. Ship is looking really nice 👌💫

Amino's are a great way of dosing nitrate into the tank. My tank smashes through nitrate and phos but this helps to stop nitrate from reaching 0.

Can this result in an algae bloom? I feel like my algae took off when I started using reef roids (and it was half dosing).
It caused a massive algae bloom in my tank I was dosing every day, now I dose 1 time a week
