We need more people like him, more captive corals grown at home to keep the industry alive, because one day we may not be able to import these beautiful corals!

This is what i do with my local store.. i frag all my corals in my display and sell them to the local store.. I am getting tired of it though sometimes because he isnt giving me enough money for my corals.. I just brought in two colonies of candy cane with about 25 heads each, and 8 headed colony of a green splatter octospawn.. and all he gave me was $20 and a pinky sized green nepthea trea, and a orange with green polyp montipora.. My colonies were worth alot more than that.. This is why im going to fix and setup a building on my property that is bigger than your store or roughly the same size and setup my own frag tanks, and sell them online instead or something.. Im tired of supporting a local fish store who never has any corals due to the importing issues.. And getting 20$ for colonies worth a couple hundred easy. I also bring him in a bunch of zoes.. like orange manderin, rastas, vampire in drags, those ALWAYS sell very fast.. he sells them for 20$ per 2 heads usually... but last time i brought in about 200 of them and i got maybe $100 for it.. Thats just absolutetly bs considering he makes like $1000+ off my zoanthids. The way i see it, he can suffer with empty frag tanks and never sell corals and lose money, or he can start giving me more money for my corals because im tired of being ripped off you know ? How is it fair to bring 1-2k$ in corals, and get 100$ for em ? Also you just said you make money to support the store by your corals, and you dont have any corals in your tanks.. I have more in my display for crying out load.. Then near the end of the video you say.. btw dont bring your sht corals in we dont do that.. Then rewind and you said he saved you by bringing corals in.. yea ok btw those arent frog spawn they are ocotospawn.. frog spawn would have a circle tip on the tentacle and look like a hammer just round shaped head but usually only 1 tip per tentacle.. octospawn would have tons of tips on one tentacle like this one does. As for that salt, ive tried it.. noticed no real diff between in an the instant oceon reef crystals. Reef crystals is high in alk, usually 12-13.. but that drops off after a couple days the corals suck it up. I havent noticed any diff going from the 8-9 alk i keep my tank at to 13 when i do a water change, alk pikes really dont do anything to corals.. i have 10,000$ in corals and half are sps.. I also keep filtering simple.. no sump, no skimmer, nothing just water changes and dosing daily for alk. Anyway, i prefer reef crystals because a bucket is $35-40.. vs 70-80 for that red sea stuff.. just isnt worth it.. paying more doesnt mean better
Day 6: Im really hoping for a Berghia Nudibranch farm Video :) Also, I’m having a severe co2 issue. What’s a good co2 scrub being media? I can’t for the life of me get 8.3ph because of this.

@@fishpony1211 I has some u try watch as soon as them come out, I don’t use notifications tho, I just check fairly reglarly when I got time, then I can normally watch them, not normally first tho, sometimes first 10 on channels I expecting a video at a certain time 😊 fragbox I normally see within a couple hours but coz it’s varied times it release I very rarely see it as one first persons 🐶

Candycane/trumpet Caulastrea furcata, caulastrea curvata and caulastrea echinulata. Mostly use latin names in Europe so they are starting to stick :D
