Very good video and very interesting to see how the SUVs get on with the different routes that you do in your videos especially the newer vehicles against the older cars
Yes because the newer cars are easier to drive than older cars but the older cars are normally not as long or as wide as the newer cars but the newer cars are quite often more reliable than old cars
Cheers it does flex a bit 😁,I spent a lot of time setting up the suspension and gained a lot more travel from a few “little” mods. I’m not happy though as I broke a front leaf laning on Dunlop hill and had to replace all the springs, they’d been on for 20 years and were a lot more supple than the new ones!
Superb video Ad. Really enjoyed this and I cannot wait for part 2. I'm sad I missed it, but the silver beast is repaired and two new replacement Grabbers to come. Some great driving, particularly Dan in the standard ish D2.
You’ll be with us again matey! I think a standard disco is perfect it’s setup just right straight from the box but with a few upgrades lift 2” is enough and suitable tyres
Very interesting to see bikes going down the hill that the SUVs were going down especially when it’s easier for an SUV with the 4 wheels and the weight of the vehicle I will look forward to seeing the second part of the video
@@ALL_4_WHEELS sounds great 👍🏻. We fly out to Fuerteventura today so I’ll look at getting something in the diary when we get back. I only have 3 days holiday left though 😢 but I’ll try my best mate. 👍🏻💪🏻❤️
Enjoy your holiday buddy! Have great time drop me a message when your back we’re not out October but any time December/into new year drop me a message! 😎👌
Yeah that red disco does really well in standard form! Dans a good driver to and from what bomber said a standard disco 2 is perfect they don’t need 35/38” tyres and huge suspension!
Good vid mate. We have a trip planned up there and Barmouth in a couple of weeks (it was supposed to be tomorrow but something cropped up so we had to push it back) so good to see this now. 👍
Another excellent video. With the lean angle on some of those sections I can’t believe the vehicles stay upright and don’t just tip onto their sides. You guys must have nerves of steel.😊
No smashdowns then the lane you were at other day with the suzuki coming up against the rock on front wheel those are the size of rocks that were on stanage edge that the parks have now ruined by flattening it .
a quick question for you which would you prefer seeing out of the Mercedes G wagons because there’s a lot of them now and they are all completely different and that includes the engines but they all come with standard mud and snow tyres on those cars
Good vid. I,ll be up there in november hopefully. But 17 bikes in one group. I got to say as exTRF...thats taking the piss a bit. But nice to see a few big trailes getting used properly. Favourite motor...definatley the 2a. 😊
We couldn’t really move over much we stopped as there’s a big hole as you come to the gate and literally loads bikes came past some big bikes the one that went over was 245kgs!
In Australia most of us use UHF CB radios that come in very handy for spotters to help guide the drivers, I haven't noticed any of you guys using them, So i assume you dont have that over there? Great video as always 🙂
We have CB radios in some of the vehicles when they are working! 😜 a few of us have small handheld ones If we get bigger abs better I’m sure we could upgrade to a box full of hand held radios! 😎👌👌👌
I was there and I hung my Dinosaur on the hook at the end. I had to fight with a hi-lift. The guys on the bikes are my countrymen, they use characteristic words 😅. A good film and nice to reminisce. I'm waiting for info if you remember ...
There is a lane were coming down your drivers back wheel is 4 ft in the air then you continue round and the front passengers wheel lifts to 4 ft in the air.
Nope and unfortunately it's closed I think it maybe should be a hiracky of lanes and be open to passes for very very experienced drivers only and when it's dry also you will see the vid 😊
Really enjoyed this one as it bought back memories of my days as a biker. I'd love to be able to ride Bastard lane on a light weight trials bike, but on a bike you need speed to maintain stability and that just isn't really doable on a big heavy adventure bike, well not unless your some sort of fearless super hero.
@@ALL_4_WHEELS That's very heavy for a supposedly off road bike. I still have a road bike although I haven't ridden it for years, a 2003 Yamaha R1, and that's only 200kg.
@@ALL_4_WHEELS no chance then whatever I do half or more lanners didn't think I should have been green laning well gov will after pay me dole then cos this here window cleaning don't work now cos of weather
I might be able to answer your question TH-cam keeps updating things on the channels because someone who does plane spotting videos in America has had exactly the same problem and it’s something that TH-cam has is how you can access the videos and posting them they change these things every so often and it takes time to get use to them I am getting use to finding the videos that I do watch and It took some time finding them but I did find this one driving SUVs off road in wales and parts of England and I have found it very interesting to watch and I might not have found it without having a look and I am enjoying the videos
Very good video and very interesting to see how the SUVs get on with the different routes that you do in your videos especially the newer vehicles against the older cars
Always good to have a mix up of vehicles always loved classics against modern 4x4’s!!
Yes because the newer cars are easier to drive than older cars but the older cars are normally not as long or as wide as the newer cars but the newer cars are quite often more reliable than old cars
There's just something about the way a series Landy moves!🥰ATB👍👍👍
Gotta love a classic Landy!! 👌👌
Amazing flex for a leaf sprung landy at 23:10ish. Those springs must be well looked after!
Some awesome flex on the old leafer! Such a good Landy that one! Used to be bright orange and had a roaring V8 in it!!
Another great mix of action. Those bikes were impressive, might have to buy an old 2 wheeled plodder. Would be great for scouting out lanes.
@JayDee-h3ll0 yeah there’s actually a lot of lanes suitable for bikes and some really tough interesting ones we just can’t get 4x4’s down..

All v. Good drivers🙏
I personaly think you could quite easily loose control on that slate step section 👍 all done very well
Loving that series throgh the rock crawling sections
Was a great day out.
Looking forward to seeing the next video ad.

Great video mate - combining both bikes and 4x4's. Good watching!
Haha cheers buddy well we all share the lanes so thought why not get them in on the action have you done B*stard lane on your bike yet??
@@ALL_4_WHEELS I have mate its challenging. Fairplay to the lads on the big 700s - proper rally raid!
Thoroughly enjoyed it--Good to see the bikes as well.
Was good to see the bikers some big bikes there mins the one that went over was 240kg he said!!!??
Brilliant vid Adam excellent as per usual. Really enjoyed the day best yet
Was a really good day bud! That shogun really does well now!! See you soon 😎👌👌

Great looking lane
Any news about white landies rear winch mount?
It’s awesome used to be really challenging about 10/12years ago but still a good one to do!! 👌👌😎
Sorry buddy I forgot to ask him when we was out sorry! 🤦♂️🤦♂️

The Borg is back on the lanes.
She’s back and out on the lanes! Great to see you back out with us! And a great test after all the hard work on your chassis swap!!

@ALL_4_WHEELS yeah I will do
I might get the old Mercedes Benz G300 diesel on that route at some point but chassis is on a ex military G300 and more powerful engine
That would be amazing if you could join us!! Especially in a merc G300
I will check and see when it’s possible to join you for a trip especially when I am coming from Spain in the G300
@FraserWest-um4ue definitely a summer time trip!!! August September????
It will probably be 2026 before I can get there there’s not many ferries from I live in Spain in the uk
