A couple of useful tips that I'd like to add cos I struggled with installing this myself 1. The bottom pipe to intercooler piece is keyed. I struggled with this one because I did not realize it was keyed and could not push on fully to the intercooler. I ended up pulling the I/C out which was only 2 additional screws and a cover. I would recommend just dropping the I/C on the right side because it gives you extra space. I could not get the two pipes together in there. With the I/C partially dropped it gave plenty of extra room. 2. I would put the old stock pipe and new FTP pipe side by side and put them clocked in the correct orientation and mark them on the bottom side with a marker pen (can be non permanent if you are particular about marking your pipes). That way you are close to the correct orientation when you put the pipes in.
Good points! And yes, they are keyed. Many aftermarket intercoolers don't have that pin tho but knowing that the notch should go towards the top will help you with the alignment
I did the whole boost pipe without going under the car. I removed the clip holding the pipe into the intercooler then cut it in half to pull it out. So much easier then going under the car and the old pipe was going in the trash anyway. Biggest pain in the ass for me was getting the coupling in place

It's really age that makes them go bad. The plastic becomes brittle over time. If your car is 9+ years old it's probably a good idea to change it or sooner if you are tuning the car. We always install it with a bigger turbo upgrade too. You'll have a boost look if it's going bad.
Quick question, on FTP: *** Attention: Modified Engine might cause unfitness. So, what would cause a fitment problem? An intercooler mod from the OEM intercooler?
The b46/b48 engines don't have intercoolers actually. You have a built in water cooled system in the intake manifold. I think they are just covering themselves in case you've swapped turbos or something. I've never had a fitment issue with any of their products and we've installed hundreds of charge pipes.
might anyone know where i can find that front lip and splitter combo for the f10 m sport on the purple f10 at the begining?????!!!!!!....that thing goes hard mayne!!! thanks in advanced for the love.

I replaced all 3 of the boost pipes (and the intake elbow) on my N55 F10 with FTP pipes, and it came with all of the seals and clips.

So even the upgraded one isn’t actually any wider of a pipe ? Is there a reason it isn’t like the charge pipe ?
