I've noticed on newer Steam Decks that the haptics are a lot weaker. Mine is a launch unit. There is a global setting to increase strength on haptics though. I would try that out.
Do you guys think that Valve might have cost-optimized and degraded the D-pad on the 64 GB model - or on all models after the first "special" batch? When I tried an early 512 GB Steam Deck the D-pad was much better than on my brand new 64 GB model! 😮 - on the new Steam Deck I can't really run in a rhombus form - but on the early model I can.
Thanks a bunch! I got tired of playing my emulated fighting games with the dpad
Wow! That's an awesome tip! - must try!
Thank you! I was trying to do this, but stupid me was selecting the joystick up and not d pad up hahahahaha
you saved my day. thank you.
Thanks a ton.
Excellent 🎮🖥🎧
Can you make vibration strength work? - no matter what I choose it's too subtle.

@@Moskeeto Thank you. Will try. I think I've maxed out all vibration settings I could find, though :)
There’s so much less control when you do this. I tried it for a bit, but the dpad is just a way better option for these games.
I agree. But some people just prefer to use a stick or would just like the option to use either option.
