going to be really sad to see rob go. he did one of the most amazing achievements in the clubs history and he was the one to get us back into the top flight. hes done all he can and taken us as far as he can and it is sadly time for him to go
I'm grateful for Rob and for what he achieved at the club. However his time is up, we need fresh ideas and a change! He can also take the coaching staff as well! We need to get back to being LTFC again and mix it up with heart, hunger and soul, as we all know that's been sorely lacking these past months!
None of us wanted him to fail, will always hold the better memories of what he did for us. Had he stayed then I believe we would be going to league 1. More optimistic we will stay up now (whoever is in charge) Also, maybe now Joe Taylor will stay and get his chance 🤞
gutted for rob, really nice bloke, but it was not working out. also you could see he was trying so hard,the stress, in his face, now he can chill and get a break from an unforgiving job, being a football manager.
I wouldn't say he was trying that hard because he just outright refused to change the system and drop those not performing. The signs were there at the friendlies 3 centre backs wasn't going to work, yet he carried it on game after game, picking more or less the same players. I agree with everything else but if someone is that stubborn, he cannot stand there claiming he 'tried everything'. The QPR boss made changes after 16 games and look at them now.

Grateful to Rob for putting Luton back on the football map in the PL and such a shame it just isn't working out. TalkSport got it right about West Ham, so I expect the information to be right. No news or updates. I imagine tomorrow or Friday with the news, as the West Ham boss was sacked today. I really feel for Rob but it's clear nothing is going right, the changes are too late but he needs to take the coaching twits with him. The question is, who will replace him? My top 2 picks have gone elsewhere. I also think we don't need much more in terms of players, maybe a striker, but perhaps we can still keep Taylor and a new Manager will get the most from him? The Oxford game is massive and I feel it's just too risky to lose at this stage, considering how bad the form is, while the form of other teams around us all collecting points.

What I would really like to know, just 'who' are these 'sources', and how is it that the rest of the world knows before anything 'official' is announced ?? Is there a 'mole' in the camp somewhere ?? You are right Lewis, this just couldn't have carried on like this, and, at least the new coach/manager will have a few days where he can work with the players before next Saturday's 'crucial' home game v Preston !! Perhaps the new manager/coach has already been virtually decided, and, he has been looking at video's of us playing ?

Good video. I think RE will resign but Trollope and Kyle will be sacked. So not much negotiation for them. We are now in a relegation battle so need a Neil Warnock/ Sam Allardyce figure in first of all in my opinion. Cant see RE getting a job in the Championship again - maybe League 1.
