    2tbsp fenugreek
    2tbsp Amla powder
    2tbsp coconut oil/avocado oil
    3tbsp full fat yoghurt
    Some hot water.
    Use on clean hair???
    1. Blend ingredients and pour into glass bowl
    2. Thin out with water as needed
    3. Leave mixture in fridge overnight
    4. Use next day as a hair mask
    5. Wash out without shampoo?

    I'm going to try letting the fenugreek sit overnight the next time I wash my hair. I did a mixture of fenugreek, henna, amla, hibiscus, and marshmallow root last night and my hair came out extremely soft which is surprising because my hair is usually protein sensitive. Only downside is that it was a pain trying to wash the pieces of fenugreek out my hair. Looking forward to your next video!

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  6 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I think mixing it with something warm and leaving it overnight allows fenugreek to release mucilage and smooth out the texture. I just spray my hair liberally with diluted conditioner and let it sit for 15 minutes before rising. That seems to get all the tiny pieces out.

    It stopped my shedding tho
    Will try the fenugreek

    I tried this with a deep conditioner and some fresh aloe vera as the base. It got REALLY thick, either the amla or the fenugreek absorbed all the moisture. Applying it was tough but I mad it work! I'm excited to see my results, and will probably use yogurt next tine

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's absolutely incorrect. The only ones that really need caution are the volcanic ashes like bentonite clay or powders with dye molecules like henna that can react to metal. There's no harm whatsoever in mixing amla in any kind of container. It's literally dried, ground up gooseberries.

      Sometimes it's an internal problem like hormones, diet, medication or stress. I would start by taking stock of what's going on internally and how you feel. Usually when something wrong internally it tends to manifest on my skin or hair. So before considering hair care, I would say check what's going on internally. Hope that helps :)

    Would it be okay to add Neem powder? I unfortunately i don’t have Fenugreek

      Neem is to strong therefore it has to be added it little it cannot be base of the formulation. Neem is a disinfectant. Here in India we use dried been leaves to store our food grains too. We have Neem tea to fortify ourselves when weather changes

    i wonder what happens when we add bentonite clay

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bentonite is cleansing and amla is conditioning. I wouldn't use them together. I would combine bentonite with tulsi, neem or hibiscus.

    Grabrielle , you sure do use a lot of product. Coconut oil is getting known to dry out the hair and is not good for the hair for some people.

    • @duchessgabrielle
      @duchessgabrielle  6 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      I have to disagree on all accounts. A lot of product is subjective.....what appears as a lot to you is just enough in my opinion. Coconut can dry out the hair depending on the keratin-protein makeup of an individual's hair. My hair structure is completely agreeable to coconut oil. I always provide alternative suggested oils for people who may not like coconut oil as much I do. I believe everyone should do what works for their hair. There is no right or wrong. My videos are meant to serve as inspiration.
