Awesome message, Pastor Nate. This sermon has forever changed my political view. I will no longer align with a political party. Only with Christ!

Thank you for message ... passion ... truth. You mentioned all of the chaos going on in the world, what is reported in the news. One of the best decisions I ever made was getting rid of my TV in 2013. The messages that come at us constantly are meant to render us feeling helpless and hopeless. Believe me, I know enough about what is going on in our world and stay in prayer. I also like saying "hi to a stranger a day," especially to people who do not look like me. It costs us absolutely nothing to extend kindness to every person who comes in our path. I don't assume that people do not like me because of my race, but instead, I greet them with the biggest smile I can, say hi, and most people are very responsive. It does not seem reasonable for me to want a better world, without my efforts "daily" to be a better person. I like the visualization you shared, "laying at the feet of the Lamb." When I lay down to sleep, I imagine that I'm uncovering Jesus' feet and lay my head by his feet, my whole body covered by Him. It is comforting to know God as my "goel" ... like Ruth did with Boaz. Beautiful imagery and truth that allows me to hold onto life one day at a time. God bless you, family, and ministry! Peace!

Great well-rounded, Scripturally-grounded message, Nate. One thing I don't understand, and it's not only your church, it's my home church and others I see online; The apparent lack of reverence by musicians gathering behind the speaker during the closing prayer. At my church it takes 5 seconds to walk from off stage to center stage. I don't believe a 5-second wait to assemble on stage after the final prayer would cause an uprising!

Thank you so much for your sermon! I have always wondered why certain people not only align themselves with certain political parties but insist on speaking about it from the pulpit. That is why I no longer listen to John McArthur.
