Nice, bro! You wasted no time on these! I really want to snag some but I really need to get crackin on Paldean Fates. These will have to wait. I think they'll be in stock a lot longer than previous iterations of PokeRev packs. Hope I'm not wrong.
It's crazy how many Rev haters are out there. Never met the guy (I'm on Oahu. He's a little more than an hour away, haha.) but he seems genuine. He also knows how much weight his integrity holds in maintaining his brand. There is no doubt in my mind he keeps everything he does on the up and up. Not only that but look at how generous the dude is. Constantly giving away something with almost every vid he drops. I won a Silver Tempest booster box from the guy. The giveaways are legit.

Think I have opened about 30 packs since the 4.0 dropped, quite a few reds, 2 silvers and no golds until the holiday packs dropped. Managed to get a rainbow pack which was sick!! Been watching people open these as they come in...love Nick's packs. have more 4.0 packs coming, these ones don't seem as worth the price point considering how much costs are affecting everyone right now. and to me the Throwback pack is a cool idea on paper, but I wonder if it'd make more sense just to spread those older packs across various tiers--more packs, more people who can buy them. But the rainbow idea is super cool if you get lucky enough to strike it. with the 4.0 packs there seems to be a more even spread of S/V and SWSH packs for the price point. But I'll always love these packs...interesting to see what the future will hold for them.

The packs are a bit up there, realistically still probably slightly overpriced but not too bad. The main issue I have is attributing rising costs to sword and shield going up. That operates under the assumption that they sourced all the booster boxes used for these packs within about the same month that these packs were released. That is extremely unlikely. It’s also known that he has storage units full of product, so assuming all the boxes, vintage and otherwise, we’re purchased at current pricing is misguided. I’m sure any newly purchased boxes would have been sourced earlier this year at least, much before the significant rises.

I pulled a Groudon IR from Paradox Rift out of one of my Poke Rev packs. I got two and got super lucky. Probably a 9 tho lol Centering a lil off
Really like the Pokerev packs. I’ve still got 2 wave 1 packs sealed in my collection. I may open them one day. But first I’ve gotta get Rev to sign em for good luck!

I'm so tired of people complaining about revs packs it's a mystery pack for 60 bucks or whatever if you don't have the cash don't buy. Not all are loaded lol
I agree. I would buy one if I had more money, but I’m going to sit this one out and see if for the next holiday ones, he implements some of the changes people have suggested (e.g. putting only sword and shield or special SV sets in the green tier)

I hope to be able to get some packs like these some time, but I generally pick up the packs I want at the box stores since everything is super abundant right now.
i ordered one pack, got red tier, burning shadows, kiawe full art. definitely could’ve been worse
I’ve watched a lot of PokeRev mystery pack openings, and when people get the red tier, it’s always Burning Shadows/Crimson Invasion/Guardians Rising. I know he needs to cut costs, but it’s just not fair to people that pull the red tier.

I don’t think that’s it, people are just used to the same character arc from celebrities. Rev is a solid dude, Leonhart seems to keep getting more cringe by the second though. 🤷♂️

Yeah, I most certainly agree. Rev is quickly becoming more about the money. You can tell because when he gets a badass hit he barely flinches, and just seems so disinterested when he’s opening packs. He pulls so many doubles/triples that you would think that he would give them to his subs (not that he owes that to anyone), as I would give my doubles away in a heart beat.
@@armandorivera9606 not even close Leonhart never came out to say I'm sorry for the video with the messed up card,I'm sorry for my mystery hotmess boxes that didn't go well. Only thing he ever did so far was the show he did and there were somethings that didn't go well. Even with that nothing was addressed about the Base set packs people opened and how some that were heavy were kept back from the the public. Rev has anything from anyone that goes against him he is quick to fix it from the error to shouting another TH-camr while commenting it, his Base live had back up camera and shared the behind the scenes, the IG drama about these packs. Last and most recently break down of the mega packs.

Rev has tons of hate and then they look at things which many people forget opinions. Some take it to far with the hate. Rev hands down has came out so fast to fix any allegations and people crying for credit.
Being 3 years deep in the Pokemon community these sets are coming out so fast. Im trying not to break the bank getting them before retail is had to get.
I opend up 2 holiday packs and got a cosmic eclipse but opened up, got my self a Christmas gift 😅
Like I have said in other videos about this, I would like to see the haters make up the same type of packs and see how much money they would make. After paying labor and all that, he may be lucky to make $1 on them, if anything at all
100% In my marketing career anything lower than a 50% profit margin isn't worth pursuing, and yet products like this exist with what's probably less than a 10% margin. Pretty wild.

Yeah, it’s depressing how people don’t understand that people need to make a profit in order to do these things. Like do they even know how a company works? Many people are part of the labor force themselves to keep a company running. I don’t know, it just seems ridiculous to me. I understand inflation is rough right now, but PokeRev seems like a really genuine guy and to turn on him immediately when he has gone over the math and proved his pull rates accurate is just kind of ridiculous to me

At almost $10 a pack its a bit much. And the whole "10:1 chance" etc is just a gimmick. You can buy 20 and get all greens.
If I were to buy packs I'd just go to costco and scoop up a bunch of their stuff when the packs are around $2 a pack. I have even seen sales where its $9.99 for 9 packs.
If you have enough disposable income you do you and buy stuff like this. I do and still wont buy them. $500 for 50 packs from Rev or $500 for 250 - 500 packs from Costco?
I hear you, and to each their own. I’ve personally pulled vintage packs from these which is why I keep getting them. It’s really hit or miss and the odds are very transparent. If you just want modern packs, get them from the store. If you want chances at something worth more, it’s like paying for the packs plus a raffle ticket.
@@PokeFangOfficial Yes, to each their own, but I'm going to have agree to disagree with you on this one. For the general public, which these are marketed towards, it's terrible. These mystery packs are a chance at a chance at a chance to MAYBE get a vintage pull. It's not like if you get a silver or gold pack that the pack itself will have hit.

Picked up 3 pokerev 5.0 packs and pulled 2 greens and a GOLD! I will never be that lucky again lol. I’m extremely excited and I personally never understood the hate pokerev packs get, it tells you your odds so of course you won’t always win.
