    Whenever my Adobe CC subscription runs out I start the cancellation process and they have always offered to reduce the price. Currently I'm paying $30USD a month instead of $55USD. This is my third year in a row doing it. Worth trying.

    How do you shoot b-rolls? How do you set up your cameras? Are your videos planned shot by shot? Or they are all spontaneous? I enjoyed your video, but I still have these questions. This one sounds so technical. I also start vlogging but I don't have a camera. I only have my phone. So I also expect to get some tips on how to set up your shoot.
    Nevertheless, more power to you!

    • @christy-anne-jones
      @christy-anne-jones  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I used to brainstorm b-roll, but I've been doing it for such a long time now that I don't really think too hard about it hahah. If it's a vlog, and I'm outside, I film the things that naturally catch my eye, that I find beautiful 😊
      For setting up your camera (in terms of camera settings), you just want your f stop/aperture to be as low as possible, as I mentioned in the video. For specifics, it depends on the camera and lens and lighting in the environment on that day. And then for the actual making of videos, it changes for every single video. A video essay is different to a talking video which is different to a vlog. Unfortunately, that's way too much to fit into one how-to video!
      The best thing I can recommend is for you to give it a go, make a video, edit it and then look at the ways you can improve. Best of luck with it 😊💛

      @leanneshawler 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really love the camera angles you get with typing … and the blur so we can’t read what you’re writing. I’m guessing that’s all done with a camera and setting the F stop just so? I’m either asking for a camera (and lenses) for Christmas or I need to figure out how to do it with my iPhone (my only cameras are on my devices)…

    Love it! As I and a few other video game streamers/content creators have said. If you want the dream bad enough you will find a way. One friend started streaming on xbox using her phone on a selfie stick as her face cam, another had a potato (bad) computer with a headset with mic hanging from his ceiling to record minecraft videos and living inbetween two decomissioned military bases with hot stop internet. I used my phone to record audio when i was trying to make the sims content. I have been thinking about doing writing videos of the process not advice and have a tato laptop and two web cams. So i could try to record on it say on the back porch or the front. If you want this bad enough you will find a way.

I am hypermobile aka generalized ligament laxity (please learn if you are, especially in the arms/elbows, it makes you more prone to injury, especially nerve injuries) and have had carpal tunnel surgery, and now upcoming radial tunnel surgery and cubital tunnel surgery all because i wasn't ergonomic for 10 months while sitting at my desk for work and fun for ~60 hours a week. i am also 28 and out of work from healing and surgeries for 18 months. please, please, please take ergonomics seriously. take care!
