- La Cruz de Huanacaxtle quickly stole our hearts with its charm; great food, music, and loads of young cruisers. We finally got to meet up with Avocet's sort-of-sister ship, @sailingsitka and make fast friends with the crew of SV Lusty. This is where the fun begins!

Looks like the market has really grown since 2019!
Yup!!
Amazing episode and you captured the essence of Sitka beautifully 😊⛵️
We ❤ our Sitkas
I was drawn to the town's charm, with its good food, vibrant music and youthful atmosphere.
It’s a special place
@@sailingavocet Thanks for feedback!
like how he was doing depth while on the bow lol , also loved you got new friends as always good , wish you all the best from England .
He can count how much chain we let out and I shouted depth to him for confirmation :) cheers!
Great content!! I like your style of editing. And I love seeing a young couple living their best life!
Thanks so much!
Boat expeditions to the coves and pristine beaches surrounding La Cruz are unforgettable experiences.
big fan
@@sailingavocet Yess!
Love the CL salon table … so cool to see young people on old boats , thanks for taking us with you
Thanks for coming along! ☺️
Love a good Cruisers Net! I found precious sourdough starter in Panama that way. Great video, y'all!
score!
OMG, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle? My wife and I will be there for three weeks next January. Thanks for the preview!
You’re going to love it, be sure to stop by Lusty on Land bar (right outside of the marina) they have live entertainment DAILY and the best food in town. Ask for Max or Karen and tell them the Avocet crew sent you 😉 Enjoy it!
@@sailingavocet Will do, thanks. Following the sailing channels up and down the west coast of Mexico has been super interesting. Best wishes from Chico CA.
Cheers!
@@sailingavocet While it is on my mind, Barra de Navidad is a small fishing port just to the northwest of Manzanillo. We learned about it from another sailing channel, Onboard Lifestyle, from when they stayed there. We spent a few weeks there a couple years ago and discovered another gem along the Mexican coastline. We can recommend it too!
@@georgemoore7196 We look forward to visiting Barra next season :)
I love the production of your videos!! Great entertainment/drama combined with lots of useful info I hope I can use one day.
Thank you Bart!! We appreciate your support. More content coming soon ✨
Fun adventures!

00:25 Flop stopper. I thought that was a Bra. Ohhhh... That's a flip flopper stopper.
@@sailingavocet was a joke
😉
If the flopper stopper eased the motion of the ocean, would a stern anchor put your back field in motion?
Sorry, couldn't help myself. I'll leave now.
HA very funny
