Thank you for putting this out for all the family members of the 195th members. My father Robert Lamarre and my Uncle Larry Lamarre were both crew chiefs/gunners in the Skychiefs and Thunder Chickens. Great tribute.
Totally fearless pilots, you ALL were so god damn necessary for the missions and operations you live on in legend and ACTUAL WORK...nightstalkers are ready whenever wherever SOCOM needs whatever
In April of 2001 SOCOM briefed us at Ft. Bragg on the Nightstalkers. We have followed the nightstalkers exploits and they have made their older brothers in Army aviation proud. The Nightstalkers carry on... putting our operators any where in the world bad guys need their door knocked down in the middle of the night!
My Dad, Ted Poczobut, was a Crew Chief in 1970 for the 195th. I believe I see a photo of him. This is amazing! He tells a lot of stories and it is very interesting and unique to see more pictures to go with his memories. Thank you for putting this together and thank you all for your service.
Stephanie yes your dad Ted was one of us. Tell Ted that W.O. Brian Holcomb is wondering about him. Also we lost Dan Teske to cancer last year. Your dad is welcome to join us if he likes.
@@hughescrewchief836 My Dad was so excited when I told him that you wrote back. He speaks highly of W.O. Brian Holcomb. He says he was sorry to hear about Mr. Klise. He was also wondering about Mr. Marino? Do you have a group for the 195th I can tell my Dad about? I am sure he would love to join. Best Regards
@@stephaniesnyder4297 Hi Stephanie we do have a private site that we get together on and share stories and pictures. If you can get me your dads email address I will have an invitation sent to him to join us. I was an original member of the 195th. forming at FT. Carson and going to Vietnam in October of 1967. Your dads picture is at the 8:27 mark of the above slide show I believe. Brian Holcomb has become a good friend. We have a reunion every year with the Special Forces guys we supported. Your dad would enjoy this site as well. Welcome home Ted.
Hughes Crewchief I told my dad that was him at 8:27! His email address is tedpoczobut@gmail.com (we just set this up for him, I help with with technology). Thank you, he would appreciate an invitation. Again, thank you for your service and Welcome home.
