    We started following you when we moved to the area a few months ago. We fish in that exact same spot all the time. I caught my pb channel in that spot. We should meet up! My fiance loves your videos!

      My pb was 15 lbs. My fiance that same day caught a 20 lb. There. Cut carp is an amazing bait in that spot.

    This is a good place to visit. I really enjoy watching trains around there. Such a scenic place too! The surrounding towns are fun to go to. It feels like you are truly on vacation when you go up there!

      @@hammeroutdoors4603 I try to go there a few times a year. Its an incredible spot to visit. The Norfolk Southern route isn't as busy as it used to be unfortunately.

    Ah yes, a real Fishman! We love fishing at the bay bridge. Seen one of those PROs videos where they are boat fishing over by the railroad bridge, and I was this PRO is cheating. 30-pound test line, and heavy rods. That ain't fishing, that cheating. It ain't fishing unless you have to worry about your line snapping, or your pole breaking, or hell, a catfish taking the whole rig into the water. Thats fishing! Great catches!

      @@hammeroutdoors4603 I have not. When I was a kid (35-40 years ago), I had a foster family that used to White's Landing and we fished in one the small creek connected to The Bay where their cottage was. We would catch them, but I have not tried since adulthood, mainly cause I hate the cold.

    Which section of the old bridge were you fishing from there? North or South? I usually end up fishing off the platform on the North section. Biggest Channel Cats I've ever caught have been out of Sandusky Bay!

    • @hammeroutdoors4603
      @hammeroutdoors4603  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always go to the north about half way down. Have got some nice ones there. Have you ever used shad at lake Erie or at the bY. I might try it next time I'm there. Thank you

      @@hammeroutdoors4603 I've used just about everything up there and caught those catfish. Cut bait works great, plain shrimp, chunks of chicken breast with or without jello. A lot of times I'll get there early and start catching those little white perch that like to hide under the over hanging trees and cut them up for bait to use later in the evening.
