hey Ryan ,man how you "decide" what to play? I mean, you take the tone od the song and just go with pentatonica (example) with that tone? Like, for example this song is A , you go for A pentatonics? sorry my stupid question if that's really stupid hahaha and man please do a "sunset solo" video.
How'd you get that INCREDIBLE TONE!? I'm a bit late for the party, but if you get to see/reply, I'd love to get some tips on how you achieved that tone. I'm gathering an Rp1000 was involved from other comments?
Hey man. That’s some great improve. Now, this might sound crazy, but it almost sounds like The Midnight knows what their doing in making perfectly balanced layers of tone and sound and there simply isn’t any room for guitar riffing. Hell, they even opted to not leave room for vocals, so…this is a huge mess. Maybe don’t ignore that inner voice that says, “I’d better not”.
Can enjoy both, IMO, depending on the ~ambience I want for the (head-) space I'm in/attuning.... Also, sounded like the ~choice to leave out vocals was because the track was a bit of a rush job - cited from the artist via phone interview: th-cam.com/video/vmlSFnrr8mk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZU3l5VWrNuT_rOyW
Pull the reigns a bit on projecting that choke-hold upon musical expression. Relax. Best wishes to ya from the USA 🍻. .... Now I've gotta turn Ryan's track up among a playlist of synthwave artists while getting online to enjoy some retro-online, oldschool phat PS2 console (yes, Playstation 2/Two) gaming starting with ~sim racing of ToCA Race Driver 3 using period-correct Logitech Driving Force FF wheel and pedals clamped onto a sturdy table supporting my period-correct Sony WEGA 27" CRT TV.... Have to practice before a Scottish fella (not Ryan) shows up to race while Ryan's as well as The Midnight's, TimeCop, FM(84?), Daniel Deluxe and [more] are gonna be pumpin'. Try to stop me!! 😉👍🍻
