That's what gets me. I worked several call centers and have never heard such terrible fake setups like this. Their sheer unprofessionalism should be a dead give away. We Americans aren't always the nicest but I have never had anyone cuss at me..

And if they call back they often just say things like: "It's me!" or straight continue with the scam. I mean unless they don't do a video call, how should the other person really know who it talking? That they never ever say their real name and introduce themselfs with an american/english name, while their accent tells you that doesn't fit, is another story! And I also have to say that I once did customer support by phone and my boss would have fired me, if I would have talked to our customers, like they do! 🤣

It’s funny that Amazon can do 1000 transactions per second without any human interaction but it takes an hour and a half to try to do one refund
