Simply Nadal is a problem for Djokovic on clay, but not anymore on hard court post 2013, the year that Novak took definitive countermeasures to Nadal on hard courts. He stopped going the distance with Rafa and started to take his backhand very flat and deep to make impossible for Rafa to stay in the rally and earn the point his way. Oh, this really pisses me off. “People from some countries.” Federer said the same thing when Novak cleaned his clock in the semi finals of the 2011 US Open. “Some of these guys and the way they just don’t care and hit a ball and it goes in.” (Novak cross-courted a forehand service return to the corner of Federer’s . Hit the line. Went in. He went on to win the match.) Federer said that his way was superior because he hit the ball properly. This is why I considered those two, Federer and Nadal - to be very arrogant in terms of Spain and Switzerland being in the Western European “realm”. Novak Djokovic has dealt with that throughout his entire career and obviously, successfully. Ignorant fans, bigoted, xenophobic about Serbia, about the complex and violent history of the region, and only vaguely aware of the intervention by the United States and England and NATO allies when they bombed Belgrade for two weeks and then imposed harsh economic sanctions on Serbia. All of that is what has made Novak tough over 2 decades of success, and able to win whether or not a crowd was with him or against him.

Federer said nothing of that kind. I saw the interview and it pissed me off, but by "Some of these guys" Roger was referring to club-level players, like 2nd rate players. I'm surprised that you think he's referring to Serbs. And BTW that thing that people dislike Novak because he's from Serbia is just so exaggerated. He's always a sore loser where Novak's concerned. Novak is always polite and respectful to his biggest rival, and always stands up for Nadal in saying how great a player and athlete he is. There's genuine respect there from Novak. On the flip side, what complimentary things does Nadal say about Novak? Not much, but what he DOES say is usually said behind clenched teeth.

What a dumb statement, that's how ik you haven't watched his matches there's been several times where the crowd was against him especially when he was new to the scene or when the crowd favorited his opponent more. The reason he was complaining this match is the trumpets and the huge ammount of noise when has novak had to deal with that against him? Since there were mostly serbs creating that atmosphere. This is not football, not basketball or any other sort of that sport it's tennis, no need for gallery lmao. Looks like serbians fail to realise that, maybe they should dig deep in the hole where their brain is supposed to be😂
