XG is Xpop my friend. They came from Japan. Train in Japan/S.Korea. Promote most in S.Korea and based in South Korea. But they sing in english. ( except for their VOX which is vocal performance and TAPE for the Rap part ) you can find this on their official channel ^^ ! Glad that you enjoy their work ! Those girls are aces 🐺🔥

XG is Xpop a new genre concept by XGALX from AVEX JAPAN 🇯🇵. XG stands for Xtraordinary Girls…seven Japanese members meticulously selected by their Executive Producer, Simon “JAKOPS”. Simon is a Japanese/Korean former Kpop idol born in the US. All these members are all “ACES”. There are 3 vocals or VOX and 4 Rappers who sing Amazingly. Hesonoo and X-Gene are the two short intro tracks from their first mini album New DNA. As intro, they set the stage for the theme of the album. Basically, XG are not from this world but aliens from outer space. You'll see a lot of space/scifi elements in their videos. Hesonoo has their spaceship arrive in orbit and they wake up from hibernation; the second part establishes that they are not human because they have the X-Gene. So, you weren't far off when you compared this line with the X-Men and Marvel.

So you probably know that XG is not Kpop. XG is a Japanese group and they are Xpop. Kpop would be Korean pop by Korean groups that sing mostly in Korean. Check out BlackPink (kpop girl group) and BTS (Kpop boy group) if you want to dip into Kpop culture. They are two of the biggest groups in Kpop, although inactive these days.
