In my opinion only, I think blackbacks who are moving up in rank within a troop will start to become more challenging with the silverback father. Gentaro and Kiyomasa are living proof. With Gentaro, he was over the past two years harassing Genki, but has recently settled down. He's had a few brawls with Momotaro, which I believe is due to becoming a silverback and moving up rank. He is second in rank now, and he is not harassing Genki anymore. It doesn't seem to be as intense as it is between Shabani and Kiyo though. Momotaro loves his sons, but the interaction was never the same as it was/ and is between Shabani and Kiyo. Momotaro is more laid back and mainly just keeps watch over his turf whereas Shabani interacts with his entire family and has taught Kiyo how to play and fight gorilla way. Kiyo is now becoming a silverback quickly and is becoming more challenging towards his dad. Kiyo is second in ranking now as Gentaro is now. I feel bad for Shabani. He is being very calm and collect through this rough time. Kind of like we humans say, Shabani is being the better man.🤣I just hope that something bad doesn't happen before they can come up with a plan for these young bucks who are becoming silverbacks sooner than later. That is just what happens. Although gentaro's rank hasn't changed, he has always been second. A newborn Male is higher in rank than any female. The only difference is that most black backs don't try to challenge their father until they are bigger and stronger.
Whenever the momotaro discipline naughty Gentaro, Genki and kinny will come to help gentaro. But only for those seconds. After that, all of them will be back to their corner and mind their own business. But Shabani troop is different. After the fight against silverback, all of them will team up and continue to bully silverback. Gentaro will scream like a little baby and run as fast as he can when his father starts to be angry but kiyo is different. He sulked, he provoked the situation to become worse with the help of his mom and sis.
@@staypeace5955 yes . Of course the only one that could really keep going after momo is genki. And she knows that she is outnumbered and overpowered. Shabani's biggest problem is nene and kyomasa. But I have to say that kyomasa isn't as aggressive as gentaro, although he will be soon. Gentaro gets right in momo's face and tries to hit him with the tire and everything else. Momo can scold him, and two days later he is doing it again. Not to mention gentaro bit momo in his back twice. I don't think that kyomasa has gone that far yet.

Poor Shabani just doesn't have the same respect (fear) from his troop as most other Silverbacks. He's been the nice guy too long and now he's got another large male trying to unseat him and his troop isn't backing him. He's going to have an even rougher time ahead of him. ☹
It's normal behaviour for kiyo to challenge him. If shabani felt threatened then they would definitely know about it 😅 but yes nene has no respect for any of them at all 😓
Annie is always backing him. The point is Shabani was raised in a big troop with lots of brothers and sisters and they have to use lots of discipline to keep the troop stable instead to fight all the time.

Exactly. I feel the exact same way. It is shameful what the human race has done to the other species we share the planet with. Both to the animals themselves and their habitats. I don’t care how well they are treated in captivity. They are only there because humans can’t control their selfishness and greed.
These Majestic creatures are BORED beyond belief. The environment is unrealistic to everything that they truly are. It's disgraceful & we as humanity should be ashamed of ourselves for doing this to these magnificent creatures!
It's one of the ways we can actually preserve them though. This helps create interest in the animal and can raise funds to help with conservation in the wild.
