We can also change MPs in another way quite quickly. Every bit helps. It is down to us but time is of essence. There is the Recall of MPs Act 2015. If an MP is barred from the House of Commons for 10 sitting days or 14 calendar days, the MP can be made to vacate their seat and a by-election triggered in their constituency if at least 1 in 10 voters there sign a petition to call it. Mike Amesbury of Runcorn and Helsby constituency in Cheshire could be ousted and replaced with a Reform candidate (who did quite well in the election). Mike Amesbury was suspended pending an investigation. Time is of essence because a court date has been set for 30th December. IT IS DOWN TO THE PEOPLE to initiate the process. Starmer also suspended 7 other MPs for 6 months - Richard Burgon, John McDonnell, Imran Hussain, Apsana Begum, Zarah Sultana, Rebecca Long-Bailey and Ian Byrne. Please share far and wide.
It seems to me the next petition should say in clear terms, we seek ‘electoral reform’ a move that represents local people and local communities, something along the lines of ‘proportional representation’ this would do away with the current two-party system that are indistinguishable in their policies and practices?
Pluto in Aquarius, the people taking their power back! The last time we had this planetary configuration, there was the British Agricultural revolution, Industrial Revolution, French and American revolutions. It's too big to ignore on the international stage. Labour have "lost" 40% of their councillor seats in the by-elections (since the general election) and there is another 43 by-elections before the end of January. Tories and Liberal Democrats have been picking up seats from Labour, so have Reform. Reform won two in Kent last week. One of them is on the Kent County Council. Believe it or not, Farage is polling as the most popular party leader and that was told to Starmer on television. He is squirming and says he understands why people would like a re-run. The petition won't bring the government down, it just humiliates them internationally. However, the Farmers could, if they block the roads, ports and supermarket deliveries, like the militants are talking about doing. A general strike can also bring a government down. The last time I saw a government being brought to its knees was when the truckers strike happened, blocking motorways. After school even children were sitting on zebra crossings. Everyone joined in, honking their cars. The petition is up for six months, plus we are signing the other petition for the farmers that has over 90K+ signatures. What is great about the main petition is that it was started by a publican.
They had their chance to exercise their power - and 2/5 decided not to bother. I wonder how many of those are signing a petition because it's online and takes no thought or effort.
@@StudentDad-mc3pu I think the energetic and eager ones are voters that did vote but didn't get the government that they'd like. No it won't. People today are far more concerned with their money and lifestyles to rise up in any form of revolt. How many months can you survive without pay coming in as the economy stopped? Most are wage slaves especially when in debt. How long do you have food in your home to last? In fact old medieval peasants were more able to revolt as they fed themselves largely not bought in food.

I am all for more things being driven by petition and referendum from the hiring and firing of teachers to reviewing major policy areas, memberships or agreements. many things are allowed to go stale without the public being able to get their fingertips to the issue as political parties often obfuscate the issues, tie them in with other issues or pass the buck. So many of our answers lay within the commons sense of the people from who gets to come and live here to what sort of teachers we want and what they teach. Recall is a powerful tool too and if a government is elected on a manifesto and it starts going back on its word then the people should have a right to reverse their vote at time of their choosing not the ones elected under false pretence.
@ What we can see is that the politicians and the special interests will not act in our interests. I'm thinking independents that have been vetted that they aren't WEF etc and that have some core shared values which they sign a declaration that they will resign if they don't do as they say they will. Wouldn't it be 'unfortunate'if a french farmer style slurry related incident er I mean accident were to happen to a certain J McTiernans house - I mean it can't be a secret where it is 😃
It's our way of peacefully protesting. My area is a deep red colour- our main industry is farming, and apart from the farming inheritance tax issue, we're under threat of windfarms, solar farms, 3 substations next to a pretty market town, 87 miles of 50m high pylons running in parallel to our beautiful coast. I'm in Lincolnshire. Reeves and Millipede are about to wreck this county by their zealotry and ineptitude. Writing to our MP is pointless because she's a Tory who is apparently against the pylons etc but it was her government that introduced the net zero nonsense. A petition might not change anything but it's a way of being counted.
A petition signed by millions is hard evidence that cannot be ignored. Talk shows and media will quote it for years to come in interviews etc. I would hope ma’am that it serves as tbe itching powder in starmers undies 😂😂😂
@ well look at the march 2013(?) referendum in the falkland islands. Most would say it was pointless because we knew what the result would be. About 52 million people over 18 living in uk 2024. Only circa 60% of elegible voters actually voted in July 2024. Labour took around 20% of that 60% voting. If we can show over 6.5 million signatures on the petition this will be the equivalent number of people demanding a new election. I think we could break records and get the highest number of signees for a petion in UK history. Lets aim for 20 million that is a number way to high to be swept under the parlimentary carpet.
I think the re-join EU lot achieved around that - I think it needs to be at least 10 million as 9.7 million voted them in but I'm aiming higher - 30 million as that can't be ignored! 😉
There was more signatures on the Brexit petition, and that was Ignored. We need P.R. To get a fair government. Which reflects the opinions & aspirations of the public . We the people. Don’t like “1st past the post “ system , it has proved that it doesn’t work!
Never ever! PR is corrupt intentionally so the establishment can rig deals After the vote and the same old people share power. Actually the last election demonstrated in the right circumstances a very small vote can win power under FPTP. That is the only route to change. Splitting the establishment, sneaking in between them all.
Petitions are useless because If you know the law. There are motions to compel things to be signed I found in Bill of Exemption in the Statute of Westminster the second
I think your words are sensible but I think any ideas, new or old, are bound to fail. Yes, we want democracy but analysing the election results shows that it made no difference how people voted. The exceptionally flawed electoral system overruled democracy by allowing a minority party (Labour) to have an overwhelming majority of the seats in parliament. Labour got 33.7% of the votes (support from 20% of the total electorate) yet got 63.23% of the seats. Before any decision on who to vote for, the exceptionally flawed and unfit for purpose electoral system needs changing (urgently) otherwise, with multiple political parties as we now have, the same thing could happen again where a minority party gets into overwhelming power. Labour has 192 more seats than they would under proportional representation, i.e. they would have 219 instead of 411. Parties like Reform (who have only 5 seats with over 40% of the votes that Labour had) are well short of proper representation. Reform are 88 seats short (they would have 93 under PR) and the Greens are 40 seats short. Both these parties combined represent 6 million people who voted yet have in total 9 seats in parliament. Labour represents 9.71 million people and has 411 seats in parliament. It's the electoral system that needs sorting before any talk of who to vote for.
Absolutely pointless should you claim title however, take your standing as a man as described in the Bible Genesis 1:26 for this will qualify you as the executor of will of the trust. With regard claim of title you need to look up Job 32:21-22.

OLIGARY WAR GAMES GOVERNMENT IMPLIMENTS THEM AND FUND THEM WITH OUR MONEY TO US!!
Well. They seem to have ignored every one n the last 30+ years... So I'd guess they're not going to break a habit of a lifetime..
Just more distraction for the peasants in the theatre show that is politics.
Cheer up black pill. They put us in jail for memes so we're shitting on their door step instead. Fun times.
Oh no, you should have kept quiet about that none crime hate incident, expect a knock on the door.
😂I was only 10 at the time!
@CCCwatch that's no excuse
Wouldn't it be 'unfortunate'if a french farmer style slurry related incident er I mean accident were to happen to a certain J McTiernans house - I mean it can't be a secret where it is 😃
If starmer pulls it,lets start another.
One can only but hope! 😂😉
@ well look at the march 2013(?) referendum in the falkland islands. Most would say it was pointless because we knew what the result would be. True, but it is a fact which has been brought up time and time again with great effect. Three people said no to remaining a british OT but i suspect they wanted full independence. In that case it put a whole load of that itching powder into the argentine pants 😄 btw i have always hated bullies so well done you 👍👍
IF HITLER HAD BEEN STOPPED IN 1935, MANY LIVES AND MUCH GRIEF AVOIDED…..REMOVE STARMER IN 2025.
I hope the king has signed it
@EddieMarris
Charles is co-founder of WEF
Please wake up mate 🙏
@nickieglazer33 yes I'm well aware where is loyalty lay and I'm very much wide awake do you think I was born yesterday
That’s why I signed it…it’s about energy and frequency…apparently the gov have looked at it and 1/4 of the signatures are from other countries ..apparently Rachel..there’s a better way ..THE RECALL OF MPs ACT 2015….
I've been told by a few people that the Recall Act won't work... unfortunately!
Seems petition is slowing rather a lot as it approaches 3 mill!!!
It's painfully slow at the mo! 🙄
@@CCCwatch "too slow" perhaps...
@@CCCwatch NB - Suddenly seemed to slow about 3 days ago. Is there a way to plot the rate of new signatures over time? Think there will be a "step" and then slower "rate" in it...
❤️🇦🇺
Is the petition not open until May 2025?
I'm not altogether sure - I think once you pass the 100K mark they review it within a few days, so presumably it gets taken down 🤷♀
20 May 2025
Yes, it is a 6 month petition.
@@CCCwatch The petitions usually stay up after the review date, it can also take months for the debate to take place and not all MPs turn up for the debates.
@@KimThomas-vp4vm Excellent, thanks for clarifying that one, Kim!
I think it may have an impact!!!
@@CCCwatch🥳
Unfortunately all revolutions are harnessed and steered.
Many of us are unharnessable... 🤔
@@carinnacooper9533 And many are distracted, unable to find solutions because they are unaware of what the problem really is..
Hiding comments
Oh wow, I replied to this earlier and my comment has been removed!!! 😳
Petitions are useless because If you know the law. There are motions to compel things to be signed I found in Bill of Exemption in the Statute of Westminster the second
do you understand anything at all about psychology Neal?
And? I'll wait.
Why wait? I action.
wont make any difference starmer wont go uk is finished
We need to debunk GE, we need our own people in. We all need our own wards. We need to ren them ourselves. This petition is giving them.our power, meaning another tosser from Oxford/cambridge in

😍👍
Barmier says don't like it leave so pointless ...
If only millions rose up when they rolled out Covid, Lockdowns and Jabberwockey 🤔 be interesting to see the outcome of this though 😊
Perhaps because of recent events millions of people are indeed rolling out, as those that were intrinsic in bringing us to this point with their actions, are beginning to feel on the wrong side of history.
One could reasonably argue that the veil may well have lifted.
And once seen, it can no longer ever be unseen?🤔
@daddymulk
Yes, I signed all those petitions. They discussed it in parliament approx 10 MPs showed up.
Then I educated myself by reading 'The most dangerous superstition' by Larken Rose.
If folk only knew the truth.....
