- What a fantastic afternoon! Trains galore and Matt got a "cab" ride on the stunning replica of "Ursula" (thanks James -- very kind of you) The Perrygrove Railway is situated near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, England. Filmed by Dave and Tom Waldren.
A great little railway in a beautiful location. Excellent video.
Thanks for your kind comment David; much appreciated. We certainly enjoyed it; wish we had been there longer. Don't change anything; it's great! Lovely to see some "freight". Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it - what a shame that you missed this year's gala (as we did unfortunately - you can't do everything!) Cheers, Dave
Hi Tim, thanks for swapping ends with me! I was surprised that we were allowed to ride in a small open wagon... great stuff! Cheers, Dave
Hi it's 15 inch gauge and is near coleford, Gloucestershire. The loco at 3:00:00 was purpose-built for the line by the Exmoor Steam Railway. Cheers, Dave
That's me you're sharing the open wagon with behind Ursula, with my cheap and nasty camera. I'll try to blend into the background like a chameleon next time! Thanks for that, I'll cobble something together in a day or two.
What gauge is this and what type of loco in the film 3minutes in
The gauge is 15 inches, the loco seen at 3:00 is called 'Spirit of Adventure' and was built by the Exmoor Steam Railway
