Theriault a natural middle weight, we see him here at light heavy weight. Fought only the best and won!.

I'm starting to watch the videos on this channel now... and I'm discovering many faces that I see in Martial Arts movies from the 80's and 90's, even among the spectators and fighters' corners!😅

Little could these announcers imagine where Hoost would get as a supreme & unique K1 champion winning 99 fights - Four-time K-1 World Champion, Hoost, considered to be one of the greatest kickboxers of all time.

He has had such an interesting career. All of the accolades.... and the Sapp fights. Kickboxing is unique in the fact that pretty much every major star ahs had some losses that surprise you.

Someone here don't know much. I boxed in Boston and New York for 10 years I'm 76 so that was a long time ago. Im not kickboxer but was paid ofter as a middle weight to get kickboxers ready for punching I have been in sparring with most in this area in the USA and Canada. I will say this I got along well with all and I also say Sean and it was not close was the best as far as boxing over the rest He was the fasted and hit without a doubt with the most power. I remember the fight he had with Wilson I have sparred with both many times and I thought, Jean would knock him out easy. Personally I thought that fight was more like an exibition or a complete joke. I was very upset that these 2 of the best put on a lousy show. But to say Jean could not win in boxing in canada is a joke. In fact I often tried to get him to switch to straight boxing.

Sapp would have beaten a lot of people if he went all out the way he did with Hoost. He was a massive person. He started giving up in fights once he realized it wasn't worth getting injured for $60k a fight. He could make just as much money losing fights as trying to win and avoid injuries.

I know J-Y T personally, but I must say today that if he was boxing instead of kickboxing, he would not win even a county-level of boxing. It is absolutely horrible to watch his boxing. He uses only jab or right cross separately. No punching sequence and no power. Even daily sparring for myself was much tougher than what I see here as a fight. Totally disappointing.

I do think Theriault had lots of power, you don't get over 60 KO's without it. His boxing is decent and his style proved very efective for him. Not everyone is a Sugar Ray Leonard with loads of combinations.
