Nice video, I think it's nice how you put the coordinates to the trail heads in the video

I have a four hour drive to the near trail head for me. I'll count my blessings, but I sure wish is was closer. Thanks for sharing

It’s a cool area, but kind of small and probably not worth 4 hours each way on its own. It could easily be combined with a larger trip to the southern sierras, Mojave desert, or Death Valley if you wanted to do a multi-day trip.

Thank you so much! I have footage from a recent trip to The Bradshaw Trail. I just need to get editing! 😆

Was near there the other day. Went up Iron Canyon Sceneic trail since it's rated 3 but had to skip Black Rock Canyon trial since it's rated 4. My 8.6" ground clearance just isn't cutting it. Vids like this make me jealous. Thumbed up and subscribed.

The first trail is called Iron Canyon Trail. As of today, September 13, 2023, the trail is closed from the frontage road near the SR14 bridge due to the damage caused by tropical storm Hillary.

I was there in August on my way back from Mammoth Lakes and it was closed for the same reason. North of the bridge is still open but I couldn’t drive under the bridge.

Was just there in January and June camping and off roading. I live 90 minutes away and it’s super fun driving there. I also took my new Bronco there!

How was the camping? Were you in the State Park or somewhere outside the park?

@@palehorseadventures In January it was way too cold. The high 60s during the day and high 20s at night was too much. In early June the peak was 90 and lows were low 50s with so much wind I almost cancelled. I would say it probably has better weather in spring to camp. I stayed in the State Park and camped at Ricardo Campground.

@@thomasruiz2307 Ohhh yeah. I've done the Mojave desert in January and those 20 degree nights are rough.

I stopped here last Oct. 2022 on my way to Tahoe. I checked out the camp sites.

The scenery is good, but it is not difficult for the Bronco to drive this kind of road

Correct. These are mostly easy trails, except for a few spots on the Black Rock Canyon trail. Still, nowhere near the Bronco's limit.
