- हिप (कूल्हा) इंप्लांट या रिप्लेसमेंट सर्जरी हिप ज्वाइंट के स्थान पर प्रोस्थेटिक ज्वाइंट लगाकर की जाती है. यह हिप ज्वाइंट के समान ही काम करती है. सामान्य रूप से इस प्रकार की सर्जरी में या तो पूरे कूल्हे का ट्रांसप्लाट होता है या कूल्हे का आधा हिस्सा ट्रांसप्लांट किया जाता है.
ऐसे सर्जन से ऑपरेशन कराएं, जिसे ज्यादा हिप रिप्लेसमेंट का अनुभव हो. सलाह के मुताबिक ऑपरेशन के बाद डॉक्टर की बातों का पालन करें.
