I like how cool these cpu's run. Sure they don't perform in all games like you would expect with a new generation. But it's a whole new design and it has massive potential. i'm sure they'll iron out the kinks.
Agreed. I'm hoping this will in a way be Intel's Ryzen in that how Ryzen has done mostly well for AMD. Well, except for their 9000 series... Hopefully Intel won't have that happen to them.
Probably not a coincidence that 265k is the only ultra in stock at my microcenter. They had some 245k's as well but I never saw 285k's in stock at all.
The lack of a micro Center in the Seattle area is absolutely insane with the number of tech minded people who would be able to buy high-end parts. That should be the next place you put a location.
And u think zen 4 and zen 5 amd cpus are good?😂😂 The new ultra cpus are gonna be damn good once they work thr bugs out. I just got done overclocking the ultra 285 with a 4090 and it performs very very well. It's absolutely a pain in the ass to overclock though. Most definitely the hardest by far. Took me over a week to do it
@@lanegeisewite1436 How's the temps? I'm rocking a humble R7 5700g at the moment and currently split on which to upgrade, team red or blue, I'm a casual gamer that edits in Premiere Pro with occasional After effects.
I saw the title... 'Let's build a Core Ultra...' and after watching many Core reviews, I would be remise if I didn't stop in and change the title to 'Let's NOT build a Core Ultra...'
@@imammumbata194 I was about 2 weeks away from buying the $1000 ASUS Z890 Extreme and the $600 285k! Now after 16+ yrs in gaming on PC... I'm switching to AMD and odds are I won't be back. Unless Intel comes out with something that can come close to the efficiency and power of the AMD! Gonna get a X870E Hero and wait till January for the 9950X3D.
Yeah, no one is gonna call this “Core Ultra” anything. They are still gonna be i5s and 7s and 9s. Not this Core Ultra 7 69420 mess. Also, oh Int L, at least you tried. 💀
There will be Core non-Ultra 3/5/7 series of the same digit ranges, so we will be forced to specify. The least cumbersome path would seemingly be Core 5 120U Ultra 5 245K which would be shortened to either "245K" you figure out the rest or u5-245K I don't think Intel even has their naming figured out yet. They circled back to square one last year with 100 parts, it wasn't just for this new line. Everything has a new confusing name so they don't circle back and reuse the same exact name as a part from 18 years ago.

Make sure to smirk and say "fine wine" any time an AMD shill tries to rip on launch performance of a new generation.
Nice build :)
😊👍🏻👍🏻
We need a Microcenter in Salt Lake City.
We need one in Tampa. You just put one in Miami. #nearme

I hope Tucson will be a future home of Micro Center. We need it.
HECK YEAH! Tucson Arizona microcenter coming soon would make me feel like I’m dreaming. Rather have a micro center close by then a Disney land

I love how bro is just professional no matter what. He knows it sucks lol. This acting is top shelf 😂💯
For Premiere Pro video editors it's a different story. This intel lineup slays the benchmarks.

Nice build guys. ❤
Nice video.
Probably you did benchmark on balanced power plant mode, 29k for cinebench r23 is very low

Imagine buying hero motherboard for 700+ and this garbage cpu comes out... after experience like that, don't think anyone will be back again

Imagine having no life at all other than rooting for an enormous hardware corporation that doesn't care at all about you.
So cyberpunk with rtON has better FPS than rtOFF?? Is that shit fr?
The reviews haven’t been good so far for this new gen of Intel CPU’s (so far the core 9 has been reviewed).
I think they are being a bit disingenuous with the reviews. Hardware unboxed was more fair across the board and Jayztwocents.
Nice build, pity that the CPU is utter crap!
Why? Why? Is there a love of slow and inefficient?

I wouldn't say no one because the masses will call it what it's called. Enthusiast maybe not.
