      Since we left the EU, almost nothing in the way the UK is run has changed. Why on Earth would you expect to see a difference?

    • @amandabell8827
      @amandabell8827 49 นาทีที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@dafyddrees2287 It was in reference to a comment made in the show saying that Labour want to re-join the EU and that some trade deals are struggling. I just wanted to know if anyone had been affected badly since we left. Not in any way how the UK is run.

    We have too many universities. Some should close

    • @maggieattenborrow6725
      @maggieattenborrow6725 29 นาทีที่ผ่านมา

      When they gave High Education Colleges University status without employing University Tutors etc., , the standards immediately declined. So a few actually benefited anybody. The closure of some Universities would not be a loss, along with their Woke indoctrination!! Not blaming Labour, it was the Tories who enabled this, but even so, it opened the doors to so many uninvited new thinkers and practices; the fall-out from which we are now reaping. I was in Higher Education at the time, and saw the scamble by these new Universities to go and attract students world wide to come and 'study's in England.... the rest is history!!!!!....I lay my case!!!!

    I would like to comment on benefits, not everyone is milking the system, and to be honest there is quite a high bar for LCWRA and PIP. I was fit all my life, but now I'm in a wheelchair and in pain 24/7 and shake constantly etc. Please don't put everyone in the deplorables box, it's hard enough as it is.

    So raiding normal peoples pension funds that they invested in for their spouse for inheritance tax payable immediately upon death at 40% which I'm sure the pension funds will do on the backend for the government. Whilst anybody with a vast estate gets 10 years at an interest free rate to pay their inheritance tax. i won't even mention the difference in rates the respective groups pay. Truely a working people's budget but not how they meant it! Rachael Reeves worked at the BOE for a few years straight out of university, so I doubt she was an economist, maybe an analyst.
