the moment she said 'you shouldn't have let me in because now it's far too late' hit me like a truck - the most painful yet sincere confession of love, in whatever form, family or lovers or friends, since lockwood now has a person who will miss him if he dies...the inevitability of love. he tried so hard to stay away and die as soon as possible, but u can't control your connection to others or how people need and value you: great message for anyone feeling low, mentally unstable or far away from others, great series! praying it gets slated for season 2!!
I feel so sorry for their lives,they live such scary , literally scary lives and they even start young, and the psychological impact on them is just too much, it's no wonder ,this show feels so emotional
okay but i was confused when he gave her the necklace bc in the books that happens in the 5th book ( the first season's based only around book 1 and 2) but it's his mums necklace in the book and then she runs after him trying to have a romantic ending kind of thing without a kiss or real answer so I'm confused if the necklace he gave her in the show was his mums and this means in season 2 (hopefully there is one) they'll add a kiss or something bc i was so mad when we didn't get a kiss at the end of the books (sorry for the long comment)

I read the books after the show, so I'm not exactly a long term fan, but in the second book when they go to the party (with George in the books), he gives her a diamond necklace to complete the look. So there are two necklaces in the books. And obviously the second necklace has a long of significant history. Thank you!
Yes, there are two necklaces (diamond and sapphire). I'm guessing the diamond one belonged to Jessica as Lockwood put in the show it was from someone he was very close to. Just a wild guess though.

The ones who complain are usually older people who can remember/knew of the world before the problem, where teens were supervised and not out hunting deadly ghosts. But in this version of the world, younger people have a perception to ghosts (ex Sight) which is why the agents we meet are all young and don’t have adults trying to supervise. Lockwood and Co got a permit because in their London it’s NORMAL for teenagers to be out doing their job without adults :)
