What's the size of your property? It looks large. I got 5 town lots and I'm trying to picture how it will compare in terms of space for the building I want on it.
Those guys that are lifting the blocks would u find another way to lifting it eg by using rope one person is up one is down is easy than using the steps.

In 2021, i came to SL to meet some of my mother's tribe and the beautiful people of SL in general as well as claim my citizenship. Im at retirement age soon and i want to build a small house with great landscape in SL so discovering your video comes at the right time.... what area is this in the video? Is the process of buying land very difficult or is the building process hard in term securing the right builder or general contractor? What about overall general costs to build low to mid-range houses??? Thanks
This is in number 2, western part of freetown and it is in the peninsular. As you can see it's a developing area and the view is breathtaking. The process is hectic. You have to be mindful of who you buy land from. Some people can resale someone else's land to you, do proper research and ask lots of questions regarding the land you want to purchase. Make sure to confirm the land owner with U building, I believe. The cost of building is affordable, if you live abroad. My builder is great so far. Most builders can be unnecessary expensive. Always bargain the price, because they will tend to increase prices if they know you live abroad. Be mindful.
I'm also building my commercial complex, the secret us yo go there for atleast one month, behave like the locals to find out where to buy land, hire a lawyer to check with the municipality. Once you buy the land, secure it with tall pillars or even a low fence. I've similar videos on my channel. Good luck

We made all the blocks ourselves. We bought the cement and sand and hired people make the blocks for us. It use to cost us le 1000 the old money to make 1 block but the last one we did we paid about le1500 as things have gone up a bit.

The fencing and the gate alone have cost you a lot of money. The main structure too is very expensive too.
I know, building is expensive. We just take it slowly.

It’s cheaper to make your own bricks rather than buy ….. one bag of imported cement give you 12 or 13 bricks very rich

You need to use hallow blocks for every first floor.. full block gives tooo much load
