6:09 I wish ‘LTX Studio’ would offer more options for tweaking the character that is generated. It looks like it’s only generating one character for the prompt, instead of showing multiple options for the user to pick from. Also, I would like the option to modify the appearance of a character by asking the AI to merge 2-3 different characters together, and also by prompting the AI on what I want it to change about the character, as well as through inpainting. Lastly, I would also like the option to upload an image of my own character, such as character that I drew, and ask the AI to turn that character into a consistent character. I might want the AI to copy that character exactly like the image I uploaded, or create a version of that character in another style that I choose.
This has so much potential. I can't help but throw out a few suggestions for exactly what i hope it ends up like :) I want to feel like a director with a studio at my fingertips. The full software should feel like it has a collection of experts available, just as if it were a real movie project. I want to be able to discuss the lighting for a sequence with a cinematographer ai, the set design with a production designer and concept artist ai, the soundtrack with a composer ai. I think having separate ai personalities with different sensibilities and specialties will make the whole process feel really productive and balanced. There could even be a whole bunch of different ai's available for each traditional roll on the movie and part of the setup would be choosing the right team to take forward with the project (you could look through show reels, resumes, see past exa, ples etc).
YES, YES, YES . . . this is what I've been waiting for. You are absolutely correct Matt. There are MILLIONS of stories waiting to be told by people who will never have the budget or connections to get a script written, read or greenlighted. It is NOW that we can throw out the old system and have a creative emancipation of stories. I can't wait. CHEERS to LTX from the Grand Duke
really glad to see ltx studio getting more spotlight it looks like an awesome tool and i cant wait to try it out. while i havent got to use it yet they had a q and a on discord and i got to suggest a story input which they took a screenshot of the storyboard outline of which was neat!
You are correct - this was what we all wanted from the first - the ability to tell a story. I absolutely love it. I'm chomping at the bit on the wait list. Concerning consistency in non-human objects, I keep harping on the fact that I need to have characters talking in kitchen A, then go have a meal with friends in kitchen B, then later be back in kitchen A - consistency isn't just for people, we need consistent settings, pets, tools, appliances, etc. Also I'm tired of getting longer shots by doing a final frame from the previous one and then prompting again.
I'm really looking forward to having non-human characters. I find even with image generators like Dalle-3 and Leonardo, it can be a challenge to get some creatures right. First time I played around with Dalle-2, I remember prompting it for an image of a bear in a giant hive. Instead I got an image of the bear's chest being a hive and I think it was about to split apart (talk about nightmare fuel). In terms of character consistency, there are some characters that change over time (i.e. scars, haircuts, even a change of clothes), so it might be a good idea to make iterations based on the same seed if that's the case.
The built in models struggle with this, but you can always upload your own gens or images from separate sources and convert them to video inside of LTX Studio for this effect
Out of respect to you I would like to say that this video format makes it much easier to respect your thoughts. Maybe consider changing your background when you get back home. This is nice and congratulations on the sponsorship!!!!!!🎉🎉 ❤ You earned it!!!
Holy crap these comments are missing the point lol. The model quality isn't the point! Generally the industry has only been a couple of months behind OpenAI in everything that's not LLMs. Sora's big breakthrough, Diffusion Transformers or DiT, is being copied by all the big players as we speak so having Sora level text-to-video models is inevitable at this point. Everyone will have them so the real selling point will be the platform around the models. And this was addressed by Matt in the vid lol. This comment section is proof that AI is already better than most humans at listening and understanding lol.
Exactly! People aren’t seeing the value. Obviously LTX will upgrade its models as they become available. And even it’s current capabilities can create excellent videos
Agree, but to me the elephant in the room is not just consistent characters but censorship. What use some platform if it's going to nerf your creations into some corporate-friendly saccharine treacle?
How about posing characters? Can we upload an image of a pose that we want, and ask the AI to put our consistent character in that pose? Can we pose multiple consistent characters together in an image?
Not sure exactly how this would work, but I would love to see LTX, somehow connected to Blender, Unreal Engine, Cascadeur, iClone or Houdini to access some of their asset libraries and capabilities to also aid in story creation. Maybe you could make your major decisions in LTX and hit some sort of build button, and it would use these other programs to create a detailed environment, characters, and/or scene. REPLIKANT & Lore Machine kind of does some of this but no where near the level of LTX Studio.
@@bkdjart LOL. TH-cam algorithm and a couple of other film tech channels I follow, brought them to my attention. This is one of the best. youtube.com/@askNK
I agree with what is being said lately which is that authentic content is going to start becoming a hot commodity depending on how many generic story lines are created through ltx. I still want to try it out, but I'm going to wait for Adobe to come out with their video generation and see how that pans out
If you haven't watched the whole vid - I def bring this elephant in the room up. I believe that LTX Studio's value actually comes from it's UI and underlying ability to extract value out of any video model, so theoretically a Sora API or similar could be plugged into this thing
Movies could become interactive, with the protagonist asking the viewer to help them make choices throughout the film and the movie is then procedurally generated until it reaches it's conclusion.
My biggest doubt is the quality of stories that it will make. I’d be curious to see if the stories are unique or just feel rehashed. As a writer myself, that’s what I’m most curious about.
At this stage of development, the idea that 3d is THE Ai storytelling medium seems especially obvious. It makes far more sense simulating consistent 3d characters and world, rather than to generate the appearance of consistent characters and world across millions of 2d frames
How about consistent objects? Let’s say my character uses a very unique-looking sword with a unique design on it. Can the AI consistently depict objects like this?
This looks great... If only they'd allow other creators in rather than only choosing a select to build the hype. Would be a good idea to give an estimate or update the folks on the wait lists but it's a brilliant way to build their email list and to breadcrumb.
The characters don't look that consistent in the demo videos on their website. Especially the wizard changes pretty significantly. I'm looking forward to trying this out and seeing how well it works.
Sora itself will never be released to the masses by OpenAI. To make friends with Hollywood, they've decided to give the studios first dibs at creating public-facing platforms of their own for AI-clip and movie generation. OpenAI have opted to go for the much smaller in number but MUCH deeper in pockets market. In exchange OpenAI will get rights to entire movie catalogs for training future versions, as well as charge studios heftily for the privilege. You can bet the studios will pass crippled feature sets on to the public, with crazy per-use or subscription prices. I MIGHT be wrong, but probably not.
The fact that it's not Sora quality really ruins it for me. Sora really killed every other platform because it's THAT GOOD. I used to pay $70 a month making Pika videos and I completely halted that, permanently because of Sora. So,If I'm going to make something good I'm going to use something like Sora. I'm sorry but there will never be a plug-in that will allow you to modify Sora videos through this app. So, you're telling me, that I can make a video from Sora and this app will know how to actually modify the DETAILS of it? I don't think so. Everything you showed in this presentation video cannot be done with a Sora video. At most, the only thing you can do with LTX is just drop the Sora video into LTX studio. THATS IT. You can't change a moon into a sun within the Sora video itself using LTX. You cannot modify ANY details. Sora needs to have it's own platform for this, period.
Every feature you speak of inside LTX requires image to video which Sora supports, this includes consistent characters, lighting changes ect. It would absolutely be possible with a sora API
I'm a little confused how you know all to be fact when Sora is not even released. OpenAI has stated clearly that they are first and foremost a provider of developer APIs. ChatGPT is not their bread and butter. I don't know if you have experience with software development, but the purpose of an API is precisely to provide developers and user-facing platforms with the flexibility to use them in a vast number of creative ways. That is what LTX intends to leverage. If they aren't able to, then it will only be if OpenAI changes its primary business model.
I don't know why my comment got deleted. But basically I said that OpenAI's primarily in the business of providing developer APIs, not user interfaces. That's what LTX is referring to. Developer APIs are specifically designed to allow other apps to use their models in flexible and creative ways, including doing the things you say it won't be able to do. That's the case with the models underlying ChatGPT. Sora is unlikely to be any different.
I need to be able to drop in a screenplay, or at least an individual scene for the screenplay. The 'drop in a prompt sentence' to generate a story is next to useless in my mind.

The official launch was supposed to be 2 days ago, and it's still invite-only?
The official launch was 2 days ago - the waitlist has opened and a slow roll out to users has begun for the beta

"I wish I had this when I was 12."
Yeah, now you're what, 22? You really missed out.
10 whole years without AI story generation.
haha, you have to understand that I spent years trying to make content with low quality tools
I'm nearly 60, I wanna ride this baby to the max, but it's taking so long....
I see spoon not microphone 😂
What's important here is... Did you hang with Cleo!?😂🎉😂
Video is coming to Adobe Firefly
That will be so censored and gimped as to be useless tho
RAW = Essential
this is the future .. i am wondering if ai can generate a full movie 🤫.....are we just a simulation on a larger computer?
I had made advanced promo to make a story creation generator
Jeez, they're paying all the AI TH-cam guys to make videos about them. That always makes me suspicious.
I understand the concern but I can promise you that in no way shape or form have I misrepresented anything to you guys. All thoughts are my own and LTX had no say in the way I produced this video
@@MattVidPro Right, they just paid you to make it. C'mon, this isn't our first time around the block. I just saw an ad from them on twitter and it's very deceptive.
Also, I looked into their TOS and they OWN everything you create on their platform!
Subd, not beacuse of conent - but because of SPOON! - So creative!
imAGINE this local running on pc
I literally can't imagine anything else. The idea of trying to create something worthwhile, while constantly being told "As a LLM..." and things refused due to corporate censorship is horrific. I'd rather not bother.
