Cozy Autumn Nook Ambience With Rain and Thunder Sounds For Sleeping and Relaxation

- Grab a hot drink and step into this cozy autumn nook ambience with relaxing rain and thunder sounds for sleeping and relaxation. A very special thank-you to the lovely and talented Elke Bassler for giving me permission to use her beautiful autumn scene!
A number of you requested a warm-toned autumn ambiance, so I thought this rainy window scene would be a lovely one to bring in the fall season with! The sounds in this ambience are simpler, as not to weigh down the calming rain and thunder sounds. You'll hear some soft writing sounds and someone handling an envelope (I pictured someone sitting here and writing cards or letters to their loved-ones), general fabric movement, soft wind sounds, tea pouring (because it's not autumn without a cozy hot drink!). As always, you'll also hear random sounds that are open for your own interpretation.
I hope you enjoy! And happy (almost) autumn! (Who's excited for crisp air, cozy sweaters, pumpkin picking, Halloween, coffee shops and all the other lovely things this season has to offer? I sure am!)

I'd love to know in the comments what it is you love about fall/autumn! I'll go first: For me autumn just feels like a giant relief from the heat. There's also so much to look forward to once the 'BER' months hit (that is SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER, DecemBER). There's thanksgiving, my birthday, wedding anniversary, Halloween, Christmas, etc.! It's basically a non-stop celebration, ha!) I also love the fall colors and cozy sweaters! Coffee shops seem better int he fall, too.
I love every thing about autumn. Literally everything. Coziness, peace, colors, weather(ESP RAIN) , halloween🦇. Every single THING.
Nice & cool the smell of candles. The nice decorations. 🧡🎃🍁🌻
The smoky haze on the hills, the leaves, the light rainshowers, the windy nights, the colder air and the food, holidays and decorations that go with all of this! And of course my October birthday where I like to go up into our beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado and see the aspen trees changing into gold and orange colors. The overall feel is just great. 🍂🥂🍁🌾🥀🔥🌙

The drapes pulled back to let in that autumn air...the sound of thunder and rain falling on the leaves sitting on the ground the pitter patter sound... the feel of nostalgia all around...the leaves floating about...glow from the lantern putting a feel of warmth on the cool midday air,how awesome thanks!!🎃🍁🍂🍃
I also love relief from the heat! Many things to celebrate as well, like you said, including my birthday and wedding anniversary! I love being able to sit by the fire and just enjoy coziness.

What I love about Fall is the end of the awful hot weather and the longest point before it comes back. It means pumpkin spice everything, cool nights and the absolute best...HALLOWEEN!!!

The Fall is my favorite time of year. It's beautiful. The colors, the cool crispness in the air, the warmth, and the coziness. It's a season of intimate family time. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Pumpkin Patches, Hay stacks, cocoa and marshmallows, warm socks and pajamas. Fall festivals, the local county Fair, Football weekends, just joy. Prayers for everyone as we enter this season. May they have peace, comfort, joy and find love.
Imagine yourself in a room, with autumn leaves, pumpkin, and a warm light lit by a candle, listening to rain splashing against your window while studying. That's a dream for me.

What I love about Autumn is: cooler weather, decorating my home with leaves & pumpkins, warm cardigans, pumpkin spiced everything & burning candles.
Fall is my favorite season because everything is cooler, and yet the colors of everything around us become so warm. I'm a big horror fan, and I obviously love scary movies around Halloween, but I tend to pick the cozier, "comfort movies" for the season. It's a great time to revisit old favorite things.

Except that global warming has, for DECADES in the making, been taking away our "four seasons". Surely I'm not the only one here who can remember the end of September being when you would start wearing jackets, and the middle of October being when you would start wearing your coats. In KENTUCKY, for God's sake. Now, you start wearing jackets in the middle of October, and coats in November or early December. It's just sad.

This is amazing! Thank you. What I love about fall is the crisp air, pumpkin flavor, sweatshirt weather, the leaves changing, and I happen to be born in October. I have always been the most happy from mid September- December. Just the coziness of it really sings to my soul.

I really enjoy watching all the fall leaves coming down from the trees and the rain falling against the window and the beautiful fall colors and pumpkin ❤ and the lamp just makes everything so comforty to a hot cup of tea to enjoy.

@@AutumnCozy Worst smoke I've ever experienced... there's a large wildfire 10 or 15 miles outside Portland that has has our air quality index around 300 to 500 for almost a week. The good news is that rain is in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday

Ruby, I took my family to Sleepy Hallow/Terrytown New York a few years ago in Oct. We saw Washington Irvings grave site and where he got the inspiration of Sleepy Hallow. It was a magical time. The entire area is beautiful during October.

I wish I could curl up in this nook. I love so much about autumn, but some of my favorites are: the smell of wood or leaves burning outside, walks in the cool/damp mornings as the sun comes up, cozy sweaters, and the perfect cup of tea with a good book and candles lit all around the room.

Autumn reminds me of my childhood in Normandie, the relaxing rain, the early dinners, the cozy couch and the smells of leaves and fireplace smokes in the air.
I love this, it reminds me of the house where the Bronte’s may have lived, I can imagine Charlotte or Emily sat at the table writing in the candle light with the cool autumn wind blowing at the window and the distant storm coming in over the dark Yorkshire moors. Perfection.

Ambience videos are my favorite type of relaxation videos. The visuals are realistic and the sounds are relaxing.
I am SO excited for autumn. The weather is finally cooler, the light is golden, the trees are SO beautiful! No Oktoberfest in Germany this year but we can still enjoy smaller harvest festivals and such. And most of all - bugs and mosquitos have gone back to hell where they belong!
I am enjoying a latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon on it for some autumnal flair. Better than any overpriced coffeehouse drink!

Autumn is sweater weather, it's tasty treats and warm drinks, it's cozy, it's my birthday, it's all the holidays in succession, it's when I met the love of my life, it's wool socks, it's pretty leaves and flannel shirts, it's warm soups and stews. And it's when houses and shops and stores smell the best. :)

I’m a northeast Wisconsin girl living in Texas, and although I love it here, I MISS FALL! 😭🍁 I take a day off in September every year to mourn autumn. I spend the day eating and drinking pumpkin and apple things, lighting fall candles, decorating my house in orange and listening to something like this on TV all day. Is it weird that this picture almost brings a tear to my eye and makes me homesick? It’s only July and I have a serious case of October on the brain. 😩🍂

I would love to live someplace that has a real fall. I love the smell of the earth, the changes in temperatures, the gorgeous colors of nature and I love fall foods...apples, pumpkins, squash and so much more. For me, autumn is also a "Aahhhh" time of year when the scorching heat and humidex are over. It's harvest time, produce in abundance; apple picking, pumpkin season, cooking, baking, beautiful colors of nature, warm sweaters, scarves, my birthday in mid-October at the peak of the beautiful colors and finally: Halloween

IT'S AUTUMN IN OHIO!! I love the feeling I get when I get done with my weekend chores and i can relax on a Saturday evening knowing that rain is coming .I'll light some candles and turn on some easy listening music and sit and watch the beautiful leaves dance around in the trees while sipping on some wine . I'm an October baby 50 years and counting and those are a few of my favorite things.

I love the homey feeling this creates! Feels like you're stepping back in time with that oil lamp...we had several when i was a kid...i was scared to handle one for a long time, bc when i was in 5th grade, the power went out,and we got out the lamps..when the storm was over,and the power came back on,my mom asked me to pick them up and blow them out. I went to blow out the one i had picked up,and the heat hit the glass,and my forearm touched it,and I got burned. It wasn't severe enough to go to the hospital,but i do still have a scar!

Crisp cool air, fall foliage, country rides, bonfires that start at 6pm instead of 9pm, the harvest, orange, Halloween, Birthday, cider, Oktoberfest, shorter days, the smell of fallen leaves, OCTOBER. That's what I like about Autumn.

Aww 😊 I love this beautiful scenery and video. I have it throughput the day on my big screen tv 📺 keep my anxiety and stress relief down . A few days ago i was doing the dishes and thought "time to watch autumn cozy"
