iPhone 8 Not Charging - Replacing Battery Data Transistors

  • It has been known for awhile now that these battery data transistors can easily be knocked off during screen repairs and leave you with a phone that does not charge or is stuck at 1%. I have seen multiple phones come through here with this same type of jumper attempt lately, and I am not sure why! If you knock one of these off, you should replace it with another.
    In this video I show my technique for fixing the broken pad and placing the new component.

    transistor... mosfets... I guess they are the same thing, but always called this a mosfet. Done this repair numerous times and still doing them but on many occasions with the jumper. Nice job again. I'm really enjoying your videos.

      Thanks! Do you have one you recommend? I was thinking of that chinese brand that can use the jbc irons. I can't remember the name right now lol.
