I would add that most atheists I've talked to and/ or witnessed were also incredibly combative and resistant to me even exchanging with them or answering any of the many questions they asked. The burden of proof is upon atheists to demonstrate they can substantiate their arguments without resorting to combative, belligerent behavior. Neither she nor I are saying every single atheist that exists is this way, we just haven't met or talked to any that aren't.

All of the atheists I've met I became acquainted with in regular interactions. I also don't think this is an issue with intellect. I would consider most of the antagonistic atheists very intelligent; they just weren't using wisdom and often contradicted their own arguments. And again, I just want to say I'm confident not all atheists are represented by those I've met. The atheistic community is not a monolith. The Church is not a monolith either.

You're essentially claiming that such a being that is somehow greater than infinity and eternity can exist, which is impossible. God *_is_* the greatest being in existence. There can't be anything greater than infinity and eternity.
Whenever possible, you should have people praying simultaneously while you engage in these conversations. Maybe they pray to the side or you could even just let people know you're going out online so they can pray for you. I think you will find that will dissipate the distractions of the enemy because he ALWAYS tries to distract when people are speaking from the Holy Spirit.

In my experience, atheists know the books of most religions better than those who believe in them. How many people whose religion follows the bible know their deity sanctioned genocide, forced women to marry their rapists, and laid down laws to allow for slavery? The few that do know make excuses for these things.

Personally i don't see how someone stating facts translates to "been watching t.v" as she stated ... Also she agreed on the point he was stating to support her belief in science but once he started comparing it to what he believes she was not there for it. If theists had proof then we'd be observing gods actually existing, and theists wouldn't need faith (pretend proof) ...but theists don't have proof. When the first lady said that he must have been watching a lot of tv when he began to explain the concept of science, that triggered me. Preston definitely exhibited so much restraint and patience in these conversations.

As a Christian, you make me so proud. They had a lot of the same questions I once had. And I could ask these same questions to people in the church and they don’t have an answer for me, only to have faith. But to hear you go in depth and explain why you believe what you believe definitely answered not one, but ALL of my questions and doubts I once had. I am just so grateful for you and your ministry. We definitely need more like you who actually know truth and can better explain it to those who may not believe, or having a hard time believing. This video just made me realize how much “as a Christian” I have to learn to speak with godly words of wisdom and still have to pray about my spirit and how to approach people like this woman in the very beginning with the grace this gentleman has carried with himself. She was super provoked.
This comment is two years old but I still 100% agree. A lot of others perception of Christians isn’t on exactly what we believe but how we preach it. It’s so important we have a gentle and patient spirit when interacting with people like this. I always loved prestons approach on this. “people won’t care until they know that you care.” Its so important to not only be well versed in Gods word but to know how to spread it in a way that’ll reach others. Long response but I also struggle with not being patient and not being gentle. I pray God’s spirit will allow you to speak to others and administer his word in a way that’s godly. ❤️

As an atheist I just want to apologize for the first woman. It's hard to debate when you're emotional and she clearly was. She was also bouncing all over the place, it was hard to watch. You're extremely patient and speak calmly and I've got massive respect for that.

It's amazing, there are a lot of people who feel the way the woman w/ the red hair does about God because of what they've seen false religions do. How sad. I prayed for her. The thing people don't realize is that a lot of top level Scientists who have tried to prove there is No God/ Creator, actually became born again believers because they came to the conclusion that All of the evidence proves there has to be a creator, that there's no way all of this within the laws of physics could be held together & operate the way it does without a creator. I've seen videos that these scientists have made about it. Important to make the point of free will. God is a very cool & loving God because he gives us free will to choose between right & wrong, which he put in our hearts when we were created us, whether we want to be with him in his holy kingdom.

So homeboy was basically bragging of his spiritual ability to “astral travel” through mediation which is common in new age ,ancestral , and other religions. Such individuals fall into the trap of believing they themselves are gods because they can manifest their desires from within. And I think this is where we as Christians fall short when approached by such individuals discussions. we tend to not confront their spiritual realities head on. They see us as ignorant powerless fools with no supernatural power which we do have but struggle to articulate. These videos are excellent ! Honestly, these anecdotal conversations are nice, but one cannot make assumption that every atheist has had a traumatic experience which turned them away from God. I was a Christian for the first 20 years of my life until I started to realize that the bible was not a satisfying answer. I didnt have a traumatic experience that turned me away from god.

She went through something… God possibly “let her down” (His Will wasn’t her will) or maybe even she did things that made her believe that she was being punished by God… to the point where she no longer believed. Either way sin took place the only difference is that… as humans we value sin differently, even though Gods Grace levels out all sins equally. He covered our sins, He died for us knowing that we would be sinners and He stilled loves us without a guarantee of us loving Him back

Not everyone cares to attempt to "change the mind of an atheist",...but Preston is like any of these street preachers who offer something without having the required level of credible evidence as backing. It's a "believe what I'm saying is true" kind of thing. Some people are swayed by it. Others are not.

7:30 No one created God. God is our creator. So take this into account when we program or make a video game and we don’t give them the ability to punch. Does that not give us the ability to punch? Ofc not you would be the creator so why would you abide to the rules of the video game. Same thing with God he created and since time exists and is linear in our “realm” if you would, then there must be a beginning to everything and eventually an end. The universe has no exception to this rule because it’s found in science because if you say the universe has always been here that contradicts the law of thermodynamics. So overall when we start applying our laws and reasoning to God who is our creator it will get us nowhere whatsoever because he doesn’t abide where we live and in heaven time doesn’t exist therefore there is no beginning or end. So it’s better to focus on the task at hand such as the origin of the Universe.

Preston, I admire you for this! I need to evangelize more and you inspire me to do so...The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I think that there could be a danger in relying too much on scientific and theoretical arguments. There is a place for that but, ultimately the Seed of God’s Word is what has the potential to draw men to God. My pastor said that “We don’t need more arguments.” Although I did hear you use some Scripture. That’s just my two cent. Nothing but respect for you. Bro ,I’ve been in this position before and I know the frustration of trying to “convince” a person of God’s existence But then I realised I’m not the one who does the convincing ,sometimes there’s a question on the heart of a person that is masked by the question they ask in real life.

The Bible was written by man and so was every other book in existence, according to her logic throw away every book. She mentioned she believes in science because science is repeatable and observable, that's why she believes in it, that's a contradiction to her own logic because she belives in HISTORY (past events) and history is neither repeatable nor observable (think July 4, 1776) so she shouldn't belive in history either, or its philosophy (according to her logic). I believe in God because of science, history, and personal experience. Nothing doesn't equal everything. Cosmology is so complex, yet according to a scientist, the cosmos came into existence because of the law of gravity. The law does not create, it only explains. Gasses don't produce life, rocks don't produce life. Cosmology and Biology are proofs of God's existence, it took an Intelligent Designer to produce all this, study the universe its fine-tuned to hold life. A random chance is illogical. Psychology-- how did consciousness arise? From a bacteria-like cell to a blob brain, to a mind? Morality- why do we know right from wrong? evolution doesn't explain, actually, there is no morality in evolution right and wrong don't exist in evolution it's a dog-eat-dog world, cold and sad. History points to God, study the nation of Israel (No other nation on earth has been destroyed more than two times, yet keeps its religion, religious text, and its language) think of ancient Egypt gone, ancient Greece gone, ancient Rome gone, Persia gone, nobody worships their gods, uses their language, or use their money etc, etc, etc ... Israel ONLY, they rebirth their language, their religious text have been maintained, and the ancient shekel is out in the world its been over 2,000 years since Israel was not a nation, yet it was reborn by God's hand in 1948 that's a miracle all on its own. Also study the history of Jesus Christ how non-Christians wrote of him i.e Cornilouse Tasistus, Josephus the Jewish historian, and so on. He is coming again, what He said will be accomplished and it will happen whether you believe or not.

Whenever possible, you should have people praying simultaneously while you engage in these conversations. Maybe they pray to the side or you could even just let people know you're going out online so they can pray for you. I think you will find that will dissipate the distractions of the enemy because he ALWAYS tries to distract when people are speaking from the Holy Spirit.

This video just made me realize how much “as a Christian” I have to learn to speak with godly words of wisdom and still have to pray about my spirit and how to approach people like this woman in the very beginning with the grace this gentleman has carried with himself.

This comment is two years old but I still 100% agree. A lot of others perception of Christians isn’t on exactly what we believe but how we preach it. It’s so important we have a gentle and patient spirit when interacting with people like this. I always loved prestons approach on this. “people won’t care until they know that you care.” Its so important to not only be well versed in Gods word but to know how to spread it in a way that’ll reach others. Long response but I also struggle with not being patient and not being gentle. I pray God’s spirit will allow you to speak to others and administer his word in a way that’s godly. ❤️

As an atheist I just want to apologize for the first woman. It's hard to debate when you're emotional and she clearly was. She was also bouncing all over the place, it was hard to watch. You're extremely patient and speak calmly and I've got massive respect for that.

The thing people don't realize is that a lot of top level Scientists who have tried to prove there is No God/ Creator, actually became born again believers because they came to the conclusion that All of the evidence proves there has to be a creator, that there's no way all of this within the laws of physics could be held together & operate the way it does without a creator. I've seen videos that these scientists have made about it. Important to make the point of free will. God is a very cool & loving God because he gives us free will to choose between right & wrong, which he put in our hearts when we were created us, whether we want to be with him in his holy kingdom.

The discernment in this video was amazing!! And I feel his pain when he’s explaining the concept of people being accountable for themselves and not blaming Christianity as a whole for the few bad eggs that claim to be Christian. The bible supports infanticide and sexual slavery. Why would anyone, after reading through the entire bible, still believe in such a cruel and wicked god? Even Satan wasn't as cruel as this god. That's where pointing the blame clearly at Christianity is dictated towards to.
So homeboy was basically bragging of his spiritual ability to “astral travel” through mediation which is common in new age ,ancestral , and other religions. Such individuals fall into the trap of believing they themselves are gods because they can manifest their desires from within. And I think this is where we as Christians fall short when approached by such individuals discussions. we tend to not confront their spiritual realities head on. They see us as ignorant powerless fools with no supernatural power which we do have but struggle to articulate. These videos are excellent ! Honestly, these anecdotal conversations are nice, but one cannot make assumption that every atheist has had a traumatic experience which turned them away from God. I was a Christian for the first 20 years of my life until I started to realize that the bible was not a satisfying answer. I didnt have a traumatic experience that turned me away from god.

The lady at the beginning made me think about this quote with her responses. She went through something… God possibly “let her down” (His Will wasn’t her will) or maybe even she did things that made her believe that she was being punished by God… to the point where she no longer believed. Either way sin took place the only difference is that… as humans we value sin differently, even though Gods Grace levels out all sins equally. He covered our sins, He died for us knowing that we would be sinners and He stilled loves us without a guarantee of us loving Him back

No one created God. God is our creator. So take this into account when we program or make a video game and we don’t give them the ability to punch. Does that not give us the ability to punch? Ofc not you would be the creator so why would you abide to the rules of the video game. Same thing with God he created and since time exists and is linear in our “realm” if you would, then there must be a beginning to everything and eventually an end. The universe has no exception to this rule because it’s found in science because if you say the universe has always been here that contradicts the law of thermodynamics. So overall when we start applying our laws and reasoning to God who is our creator it will get us nowhere whatsoever because he doesn’t abide where we live and in heaven time doesn’t exist therefore there is no beginning or end. So it’s better to focus on the task at hand such as the origin of the Universe.

Preston, I admire you for this! I need to evangelize more and you inspire me to do so...The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I think that there could be a danger in relying too much on scientific and theoretical arguments. There is a place for that but, ultimately the Seed of God’s Word is what has the potential to draw men to God. My pastor said that “We don’t need more arguments.” Although I did hear you use some Scripture. That’s just my two cent. Nothing but respect for you. When the lady said “Who created God.” Say something like God said”, I AM that I AM”,or Jesus said that, “I am the Beginning and the End.” The power is in that Word- it’s living and active!

The Bible was written by man and so was every other book in existence, according to her logic throw away every book. She mentioned she believes in science because science is repeatable and observable, that's why she believes in it, that's a contradiction to her own logic because she belives in HISTORY (past events) and history is neither repeatable nor observable (think July 4, 1776) so she shouldn't belive in history either, or its philosophy (according to her logic).

Cosmology is so complex, yet according to a scientist, the cosmos came into existence because of the law of gravity. The law does not create, it only explains.
Gasses don't produce life, rocks don't produce life. Cosmology and Biology are proofs of God's existence, it took an Intelligent Designer to produce all this, study the universe its fine-tuned to hold life. A random chance is illogical.
Psychology-- how did consciousness arise? From a bacteria-like cell to a blob brain, to a mind?
Morality- why do we know right from wrong? evolution doesn't explain, actually, there is no morality in evolution right and wrong don't exist in evolution it's a dog-eat-dog world, cold and sad.
History points to God, study the nation of Israel (No other nation on earth has been destroyed more than two times, yet keeps its religion, religious text, and its language) think of ancient Egypt gone, ancient Greece gone, ancient Rome gone, Persia gone, nobody worships their gods, uses their language, or use their money etc, etc, etc ... Israel ONLY, they rebirth their language, their religious text have been maintained, and the ancient shekel is out in the world its been over 2,000 years since Israel was not a nation, yet it was reborn by God's hand in 1948 that's a miracle all on its own. Also study the history of Jesus Christ how non-Christians wrote of him i.e Cornilouse Tasistus, Josephus the Jewish historian, and so on.
He is coming again, what He said will be accomplished and it will happen whether you believe or not.
