I made these this morning- such a fun and easy project! Thanks for the clear, simple instructions. I ended up getting a 4x8 piece of both board and foam, cutting to one 3’ wide piece (my daughter) and two 2.5’ pieces (for my boys), and covering them with bleached drop cloth I already had on hand.
THANK YOU this is actually EASY! Thanks. Also your stapling is so neat and I love when you let us hear the sound of the staples being loaded into the gun. That was fun LOL
Btw her desk is by Husky which is a tool work bench. You can find them at HD or lowe's. I stopped buying "work" desks/tables from these furniture stores they always become flimsy and are not sturdy. These are way more sturdy and some come with drawers.
@@joeythepotato7861I don't believe she said she made the table. This is her exclusively describing how to make the bulletin/pin board above it. If she did, yes that would be disappointing 😅
I have found this same tutorial many times yet nobody answers the one question, is it durable? How long does it last? Does the foam insulation hold up?
I bought a board with cork. But the cork was only 1 mm thick, next layer was paper. So very weak. I worked with foam, it is strong. You need to take the one she used in video, more durable. About textile, I think some dense material should be used. I plan to do this board too, I will try more textiles to see what is better. On the other had, what if you see punctures in it? Does not matter that much.
What should I say at the stationery shop so they give me this type of foam? I went and tried to get it, but they just told me to take and use the Packing foam, and the thing is, I hate the touch and sound of packing foam I can not bear that I used to clench my teeth if I have to pin something on board that used that foam that comes with electronics and fragile things. The foam you used looked somewhat different.
What would you call this project? A pin board? Bulletin board? Mood board? Something else?
Softboard
Doesn't the paper falls from board after sometime because of foam?
Soft board
Notice board
Bulletin board
I made this for my enamel pin collection, and three years later, it's still the best DIY I've done. Thank you for sharing!! ❤🎉
I will definitely do it for my school notes . So that it remains in my brain . Thank you. It looks so awesome
Army borahe

What is the reason to use a fabric while making a tackboard?

Perfect. Thank you. A useful way to use recycled packing material to create something new and of great use. Very simple.
Lovely idea. I wish it could be eco-friendly
Thank you! I was looking to create a pin board like we had in my design program.
I totally tried this out! It is absolutely awesome! Thanks so much for this!
Great to hear!
Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial. I’m going to make this and place it in a floating frame.
Great idea - it's going to look awesome!
Thanks Jen! That was awesome. I just made a huge board using your technique (40"x66"). I used a 1/4" sheet of plywood instead of MDF tho.
That is awesome!
Wow! This looks so cool! I'm definitely going to try it out, thank you so much! 😮✨
Have fun!
The way you loaded steplers, Now I'm ready to fight 😂
LOVE THIS!! Much needed and good choice of video on my part! subbed!
How does the foam hold up (to constant pinning and repinning) over time? Also, does the fabric eventually start to show punctures?
same question
I love this idea!!!!
i was mostly staring and amazing at her hairs😃
and the tutorial is also good
Very nice & beautiful .
Just what I wanted

So she did not build it herself??
I can't believe this!

This was very educational thank you.
That's lovely
Creative idea
Awesome 👍
Would command strips be able to hang this as well? I’m guessing it would depend on the weight
very nice. how has the fabric held up with the pins?
Nice video 👍
I loved this
Nice idea
I notice you have a spray adhesive listed. can we use that instead of the glue gun? I worry that it will dry too fast.
Wow Madam awesome 😎
Wow😍😍😍🔥🔥
Great idea ...

When you say foam board do you mean styrofoam board. I’ve never seen that kind of board, where could I find it.
