@joshuairwin2016 honestly one of his most underrated abilites. My personal headcanon is that the aura also allows him to lift big objects or catch ppl falling at high speeds without any damage
@@Spenceley They always seem to go the same direction. Every character starts getting their own super powers and it just dimishes what makes the main character special to begin with.
@thelaststand2670 that's like that but from Superman/Batman Apocalypse when Superman offers to pay for the damage Kara did to the Batcave. On a reporter's salary?

@gagetaylor192 ah I did not know that. Grew up on a farm, never had access to comics and my parents didn't have money to spend on comic books. My superhero knowledge is almost exclusively from movies and tv
I do appreciate how Pa Kent runs over to pull Clark's hand out of the chipper even though he knows on a cognitive level there's only a small chance it's caused him any harm

He was actuaully worried abouut the machinary. Do you knnow how expensive to replace its parts?
I miss this series... Sure it was cheesy, but, 10 years of entertainment with good memories and good content. And, the idea the whole show was about "before being Superman", that was interesting. First season they focus too much on the "Krypto monsters", but later on, they move the plot further. End seasons cliffhangers were also really good i think. One thing i think is missing from the whole series was an episode about "Pre-Batman", something around the character, whatever. ... I still struggle to realize Allison Mack was this disturbed person irl, i truly liked her character in the show.
As someone who sold chipper/shredders exactly like the one he stuck his hand in..... He would have a shredded sleeve like he did.... Unless he put his hand untouched there what's basically an industrial cheese grater up to his sleeve.... Even then it wouldn't be ripped like that
I think it’s more to do with how his parents raised him; they were afraid that if someone discovered what Clark could do, than he could be taken away, exploited, or even hurt. Because of this he couldn’t do a number of things a normal child could, and he couldn’t be himself around others, which distanced him from his friends and peers. This most likely alienated Clark and made him feel abnormal, so he believes that if he didn’t have powers than he could do and have the things that have been missing from his life.
Yeah, he is heavily burdened by being indestructible… it’s a pull from Pinocchio. “I wish that I was a real boy.” Cheesy, and goofy. Still better than what they are putting on TV now.
I like the part where Johnathan shoots Clark at point blank range with both barrels of a shotgun and it leaves bruising on Kal-El because he hasn't stored enough Sunlight yet on account of him being a teenager! 🤔
Very. Season 10 was appalling, which is a shame given that Season 9 was actually quite good. Combined with Mack being such an awful human being, I just can't watch that show again. Welling's refusal to put on the suit was insane. The Arrowverse are (mostly) much better anyway. Superman and Lois is again a step up in every respect.
We need to know what brand jacket and jeans he's always wearing. Good for a lifetime.
Must bulk buy
Superman's aura makes what he's wearing indestructible as well.
LOL, has to be Duluth Trading. (funny lumberjack and beaver commercials)
But 6 pairs jeans, 6 jackets.

This was a fun show, especially the early seasons.
Basically how I describe CW/WB shows. They're fine for a while. I've yet to ever complete one.

@eraldorh Yep. I quit Smallville when they assembled the Justice League before he even leaves Smallville.
Clark destroyed his dads wood chipper just to prove a point...
Actually what for is wood chipper used?
I just posted that. Should have checked first. Coming out of his allowance.
@@screamingeagle2759 To break down wood into chips. Hence wood chipper. :)
Yeah, a 15" Vermeer Wood chipper, USED, runs about $15,000.
Thats about a 10" chipper, used, average price, about $8,500.

I recall being a regular viewer of Smallville, yet have no memory at all of 2:18!

I think the title should be “Clark Kent’s Indestructible clothes”
😂👍🏻
I always found it funny how Clark could walk through a fireball or get hit by a bus at full speed and his flannel and blue jeans weren't even singed
Well the show is not going win any awards for realism...

Fair enough
They didn’t know yet how much Clark was resistant. They didn’t know yet he was bulletproof for example (they learn it mid-season 1)
@@Amikeur it was a joke...
Dad: Clark, what that wood chipper has done to you??
Actually what for is wood chipper used?
888th like 👍😁; I remember watching this on TV back in 2001. I still don't have DVD player yet 😅
Are you waiting to get one for 10 bucks?😊

Better than what james Gunn is putting out in 2025
Lol... bautista!!!!
I wanna see a bright burn v Superman movie.

“Id give anything to be normal?”
What? I wouldn't. I would love my powers wth
because you know what it's like to not have them. Clark always had his.

Great you just broke the wood chipper to prove a point. :)

What episode was that when he stopped the nuke?

I'd give anything to be normal he says......Hell, I'd give anything to be indestructible.....my body is a wreck 😆🤣😆🤣
☹️😥
Does he just buy a new red jacket every time one gets messed up?
Gee pop, sorry I ruined your chipper.
Is he "Abby Normal"??
Young Frankenstein was a great movie.
No normal person wants to give up what makes them superior to be normal.
Yes no normal person but Clark was not a person he was an alien even tho he found out in the first episode when he was like 17 18 years old.
I would rather have his powers
I'm an indestrucable cry-ass.
why would someone want to be able to be killed by a random ass driving accident?
This show had so much promise but ended so poorly.

By season 7 he should have already been Superman
If only they were smart enough to shred clarks clothes when he was subjected to damage…
Would have made much more sense
Chloe was too busy in season 10 trying to get Lana into Nvixm so the plot suffered
Pimp Momma Mack should've gotten 20 years
you could;ve shown you're indestructable some other way instead of ruining that wood chipper Clark. that shit expensive.
He got angry when his dad said it's normal to get upset.
Only a fool said' s i would give anything to be normal, being normal means limitations )
Lex Lthor is that youu?
Didn't Alison Mack learn any morals from this show?
The early seasons were amazing. Until Lex & "The Traveler" BS
