Thank you for sharing your journey, your skills and your spirit of confidence. My best wishes to you and your family. Be well, be safe, and god bless.
Thank you for your content, Ryley. The way in which you hone skills and live is genuinely honorable. Thank you for keeping traditions alive, and for teaching others how to do the same provided the technological world many of us are currently locked into. The simple things are the best things, and you put that front and center with every new video you come out with. Much love, from the states.
I just discovered you a week ago (and think I wrote an appreciative comment a couple days ago). I learn each time, though your climate differs from mine, and I hammock-hike because our forests are mostly hilly glacial moraines, where it is difficult to find a place to ground-camp. Photo-journalism is like plumbing; one only notices it when something doesn't work. Your ability to allow the video to speak for you is among the best I have witnessed on TH-cam. Stay safe, and enjoy the forest!
14:35 - that shot was just oscar like!!! I love it, and I wish I had such craftsman skills in carving as you. Enjoy your Canada for us, we will keep following you and try to copy bit by bit... Cheers, Steve fron northern Swizerland
You say a lot by saying nothing. Interesting when you turn your cup upside down! You do have some clever ideas and tricks. I do like your pipe/tobacco tin pouch. Nice! Your camp, basic, nothing fancy. That’s what makes it so neat. Your videos should keep me busy for a while. Thanks! Be safe.
Keeping it real mate! That’s how I learned to camp as a Scout here in Australia - just without the snakes, spiders and millipedes (although you guys have bears!). Makes me want to visit Canada (I have heritage there). It’s the first video of yours that I’ve seen and it was great. Keep enjoying your beautiful country!
Truly a great film. You seem like a good man and i have great respect for you and i want to thank you for the knowledge you share and the inspiration you give me. May your god bless you and your family!
Hey great video man, looks like you had a lovely peaceful trip. You seem to love your fried food lol, would be great to see you trying different types of meals though. There are lots of great camping recipes you could try with one pot, stews, rice dishes etc
When you go far into the forest, when your phone is silent, it does not catch the signal, and the sleeping bag on the foam replaces your favorite bed! When your dinner is boiling in a black pot on a hot fire, and all your clothes are soaked through with smoke. You forget about all your problems, they simply do not exist, there is you and the silence of the forest! The silence from which is muffling. Your senses sharpen as you hear the wind, the rustle of grass, and leaves. The creaking of the trunks. At this moment, you feel that you are alive, you are alive now, you listen to your breath, your heart, Nothing can replace these feelings. You are cleansed of all that weighed on you yesterday. Just you and nature. And you're on your own. You're alive now, and that's all that matters. For this we go to the forest. To experience it, over and over again. Those who have experienced it will understand. Those who have not experienced it, still have everything ahead of them. Thank you for giving me this feeling. Thank you for making such content that attracts people to put on a backpack and go to wander along the forest path, your work makes people really happy. 👍My channel on You Tube is just starting to take shape. Hey, your pot hanger is a unique design, I liked it. That’s a Great log chair, your Food looks good too, awesome cooking. I think you had a relaxing camping trip, glad you were safe. I would need more than bear spray for protection. Great video, thank you for sharing.
I've fished that river a few times, never caught anything though. There's only grayling in that river so it's all catch and release. But I would definitely like to start doing some fishing videos. I'll keep working on it. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate the support! Take care.
i love the way you communicate absolutely everything without saying a word at all, respect man.
I love this Videos too
I love how camping, or just being in nature in general is now seen as a luxury.
Right? How the world has changed.
@@KuskBushcraft In all honesty it saddens me I cant go to my local forest and set up camp worry free.

Really like that pipe - love that real thick bacon and eggs fried in the bacon grease (doctors cringing!!!). Looked like a great trip.
