Yea, some of these analysts just can't fathom that.. that they want the Lions to just continue to get it right... But they don't realize part of getting it right is understanding what you have in house.. I believe Jamo is ready NOW and he'll prove it.. the Lions offense is going to surprise people and many ways that they didn't last season..

EXACTLY 💯.. it simply just doesn't need to..
The Lions should see what they have in their hand before they discard pieces for another draw. They need to wait until the trade deadline to protect against injury since not every position group has the same amount of depth, and sometimes you are just unlucky. No, the Lions are already a playoff team, even with injuries, they need to wait to see how things shake out before they take on cap or give up significant draft capital, that could be used to keep this thing rolling and only getting stronger...
i'm just gonna say this - lions don't need anymore WRs. it's a nothingburger. the lions offense is constructed to make it easy, perhaps the easiest in the NFL, to get open. when you have that kind of oline and 2 good RBs that can slam the ball down the other teams throat that makes it so much easier for your WRs to do their thing. they don't need to be elite or anything close to it, they just need to be consistent.

Plus a receiver like Jamo needs volume if we want him to be what he can be. Idk where this "deep threat" thing came from, he ran hella crossing routes at Bama and demolished defenses. But if we take and pay another receiver and take snaps away from jamo, we'll never see it. The dude's already there, he's just really fast and goff is a timing thrower. Yall just watch and see

nfl isnt basketball, just because a player wants a trade doesnt mean hes going to get one. if he sits out his final year or doesnt take the next year seriously hes only hurting himself.
Brad won't give up Jamison Williams or a 1st round pick and that's what San Francisco will want for this to even happen and he won't like being here since St Brown and LaPorta (and possibly Gibbs) will get more targets then him.

SF ain’t trading Aiyuk to Detroit. Detroit ain’t paying Aiyuk what he wants and it’s just not what we’ve seen from BH to make a move like this. Makes zero sense to even think there is a chance.

No. We have WR1 who is better than Aiyuk. Why pay that much for 2 receivers.
Lets say we do trade for Aiyuk. We give up future draft capital. That's first. Secondly Let's say Jameson Williams has a breakout season. He really catches on. Now you have to pay him. We can't go into a wild "win now" mode like the Rams did to win a Superbowl. Your team falls apart afterward. Develop talent we have. If they wanted to pick up a FA when Michael Thomas was there for a one or two year deal for development, that would be fine. Aiyuk wants money. A lot of guaranteed money and he will get it. My guess is Commanders, Patriots, Steelers, or Colts.
