Hi Sean! There is no way to add music within 3rd party platforms. This must either be done in-app and you can do so by scheduling with a push notification. Or for platforms like IG, you can upload the video with the sound already attached, the sound will eventually be detected and added to the audio page. :)

Hi Rachel, I read on their website that you can't schedule Facebook groups and instagram you have to choose between them... is there a work around if you have to schedule to say 4 Facebook groups and an instagram account? and its all linked to the one business page in Facebook? can they be set up as different brands as a work around or would that not work because it's all linked to the one page? just trying to figure out if this can work for us. thanks

You can either schedule the post to one specific platform and then duplicate to others or you can use our multi-post tool that will allow you to schedule to multiple platforms all at once!

Am i right in saying that f i set 30 photos into a autolist, and pick tuesday at 11am... It will post photo 1 at 11am on tues, then photo 2 on the following tues and so on?? It wont start posting all 30 at once on tuesday at 11am then the next tuesday post another 30 at 11am in one hit??
If you create a post for each photo it will post 1 each tuesday not all at once 😊

Looks great and I really want to get the premium. But I don't see the value in TikTok? You can't add music or a cover to your video? And the character limits are less than your phone? I would LOVE something so I don't have to do it on my phone but the losses seem to severe?
It gives you a push notification when you post tiktoks or reels (just reading it off the screen at 9:27 ) it says "when publishing you can add the effects or sounds you want and finish customising your post". So you can make final changes before you post if you wish. Its more of a reminder and a tiny bit of work to add music to the reel/tiktok.

Hello! So you wouldn’t be able to connect multiple on one calendar. We do however have Pro plans that will allow you to have more than one “brand” associated with your Metricool account. ☺️

Hello! It is possible to upload both video and photo in a single IG post 🤩 However for FB, it is an API limitation and only allows for one type of media file to be shared at a time.

@@metricoolapp your welcome. FYI, it is a nice planner but, it is very limiting. For example, if you have a Facebook Group and a Facebook page you can't connect both. Private Instagram accounts can't connect to it. It is really complicated to use.
That is a limitation via the API. So if you would like to connect both, they have to be associated under different "brands". The same goes for private Instagram accounts, it's only available to public and professional accounts!
Please will I be able to auto publish my Instagram posts with a creator account? Because I tried it recently and it didn't auto publish my post. They said my Instagram isn't a business account. So I would like to know if it works for only business accounts. Thank you.

What about the Insta video ratios? Is it just like posting on Facebook calendar where if the ratio isn't right, you can't post same video across platforms? Usually I have to post Insta daily on the app because we film in 9:16.
You should be able to post across all platforms when multi-posting!
We're in Quebec and it is required to post in both English and French. Does Metricool have a feature that lets you post in multiple languages like Meta offers without having to do completely separate posts for each language?
Hello! We don't currently have a way to have a post go out in multiple languages. We have a duplicate button that would allow you to easily duplicate the post and change the caption but that would be the closest thing!

So essentially, if you want to use trending audios on tiktok and IG you have to post manually through the apps but if you want to use original audio then schedule?
Yes! You can however still publish with a push notification your short-form videos if you want the caption and video downloaded to your phone at the time of posting. Then you would just add in those finishing touches on the native platforms like your sounds, tags, etc. :)

Hi Tyler! You do need to have an actual page associated to connect per the Meta rules. However, what many people do is they will create a page just to establish that connection and then they don't necessarily post on it or anything!

LinkedIn is a premium feature! You will need to upgrade to add that connection. As for FB, personal FB pages are a limitation from the Meta API. We can only connect business ones. We are hopeful they will allow this in the future!

@@leonheiherbat1186 We always say that it’s a risk just depending on which specific sound/music you use. Sometimes it’s best to use the audio from the respective apps to avoid any sound getting muted or removed! You can do that by scheduling with a push notification!

Hello! In order to get the best times, you need to click into the "Best Times" and toggle on your selected network and then from there a gradient will appear depending on which network you have toggled on. :)
@@metricoolapp The gradient FINALLY showed up, but only for Facebook. Instagram is just gray. So strange because with my husbands account, his best times showed up immediately. If Instagram has best times, I don't think it's working for me.

Hello! Third-party apps don't have access to trending sounds currently. Adding them still needs to be done within the app. :) You can use our tool to do a push notification and that will allow you to partially schedule and add in those finishing touches.

We recommend following the upload sizes that Instagram sets! This is going to ensure that you don't see a huge reduction in quality as you upload. 😃

@@metricoolapp basically when I post on my insta, it automatically posts on my fb., I’ve linked them. It saves me time. But I learned from you that hashtags don’t work for fb, so in order to use matricool I have to unlink them?
This is up to you! You can choose to unlink them then toggle on both IG and FB for scheduling, click on edit by network and from there you can customize the post for each platform. But you can also keep them linked if you prefer. :)

Yes! For sure, to have more than 1 instagram account, you need to configure more than 1 brand inside Metricool and that's it 😀

Yes! You would need to upgrade to a Pro account as you can only connect 1 social media brand per network.
For example, if you run 3 different blogs, that counts as 3 "brands".

When you click on upgrade to premium, scroll down to the payment and there will be a question that asks if you have a discount code, click that and then input the code when the box appears 😁
Is there a way that you can add notes to a IG message and also a note filter? On Facebook IG there is a section where you can filter what you noted and this will help lots of brands and no 1 social media app has this feature and if you're the first, that's big!

Once the posts appear on the calendar, you can just click back into the post to add any edits. To delete, there is a button in the bottom left corner of the post once it appears. ☺️

When I try to post on metricool a picture on my insta feed, it tells me I have to resize the picture. Why is it not doing it itself? What do you recommend?
Hello Ichrak! Because there are multiple options for photo sizes on IG, the photo will not automatically adjust. Head into the planner, hover over your desired image and click edit picture. From there in the crop option, you will see Crop/Aspect Ratio. Click that and adjust your photo to your desired crop. We have some presets which are IG Landscape, Portrait and regular Square. Thank you :)
Great video. Disappointed that it only works with Instagram Business accounts. I'm looking for one for IG personal accounts. I've found with IG Business accounts that if you are accidentally locked out, IG makes it virtually impossible to get back into the account.
Hello! This is actually due to a requirement from Meta. Only business accounts have access to 3rd party scheduling! Maybe one day they will lift this!

Hello! Yes absolutely. You can have multiple brands loaded into a single Metricool account. However, if you are looking to have individual permissions per user, then we would recommend an Advanced plan. Then you are also able to give team members with their own Metricool accounts access. 😁
