@@Rhaivanna996 BIG spoilers ahead Basically the real ciel (the bubbly energetic kid in the video) was sacrificed to bring sebastian forth, which is when his twin (our ciel who we dont actually know the name of) made a contract with him. it was presumed the real ciel was dead, however undertaker brought him back and kept him alive essentially through the help of his reanimation techniques and now the real ciel has come back and essentially sold our ciel out to the police

I knew about the twin storyline before watching this scene, yet I never noticed the little details until now. I was a bit surprised when Ciel shifted between confidence and shyness at first, but it makes sense now
He's into the whole family of Phantomhive, namely Vincent and the twins. But he find Vincent being too unreachable for him so he switched focus onto Ciel, the heir, "prepared" to be "suitable" for him once he's grown and succeed his father's earldom.... Well that doesn't mean he'd lost interest on Ciel's little brother though. Once he's given the chance he'll never hesitate to bring both the twins back home for his own twisted fascination.

Did anyone know who killed ciel's parents? After I reading the manga and knowing the past of ciel and his twins brother on their 10th birthday party, I think it was tanaka. When ciel found out his parents had been killed, he ran to find his twin. Then he saw tanaka and ran towards him but suddenly a hand closed his eyes. After that they were kidnapped for auction. The question is why at that time tanaka didn't help them, even though he could do Japanese martial arts (in the book of murdered). And strangely tanaka is the only survivor when the mansion caught fire. But... who knows the original version story of Yana-san. Can't wait for the next chapter

There is something off about this. I rewatched Black Butler book of circus last night, all of it. When Joker informs Baron about the Phantomhives death, episode 8, he says the earl, the wife, and child. Not CHILDREN, unless he was interested in only the older brother, but they look exactly the same, so that's strange. This theory is slightly confusing because never once throughout the series, they mention the second brother which is the so-called "Ciel". Madam Red never mentioned it when she tried to kill "Ciel" since she mentions the loss of losing the ones she loved. This theory is odd, it seems like the current "Ciel" was neglected but doesn't exist to the close family but someone asks about his brother. Elizabeth's family doesn't recall 2 brothers but someone that once associated with the family remember them. There are photos of the Ciels but however, never shown yet there are ones of the earl, wife, Lizzy, and Ciel. The manga shows the parents care for both of their children, so why aren't they all in the photo together. What's even more off is the fact Ciels older brother shows to care a lot for him, but when he is brought back, he's fine with him going to jail. However, I don't think the older brother is going to be alive for long. The undertake fooled around with the tapes, and shinigamis were brought into this, it means what the undertaker has done is wrong and he'll probably be punished for it

when the anime was created there wasnt even enough hinted the plot twist in black butler was done right some people made theories but most people considered them rubbish talk or over thinking and boom also if I am not mistaken it was cleared in the manga that he has a brother in 2019 while the manga began in 2006!
It doesn't make any sense. I binged read the manga in three days and there were absolutely no hints to this?? The only hints came AFTER he appeared. But ofc when I state this on any online forum, I get "its canon" shoved down my throat when it makes no genuine sense !!
It's literally in the chapter 31 and 32. You can clearly see that both twins have different hairstyle - correct with how they are shown later in series when Ciel is brought back as Bizarre Doll. They did extend a little bit the anime scenes to throw it down our throats. But it is canon as author was strongly helping with the Book of Circus adaptation as well. And it doesn't contradict those two manga chapters either.

As far as I heard, the real Ciel was killed about 3 years ago in order to summon Sebastian. His twin brother, who apparently is called Astre, had to watch his older brother get killed on the table. While „Astre“ was in the cage and watched his brother die, he made a contract with Sebastian and took the Name Ciel. I’ve heard that it was normal back then to hide the younger twin from public (if you were in a Nobel Family). So if the older twin dies or else happens, they can replace them without raising attention. Also, I noticed that Sebastian never calls his young master Ciel, not even when he talks about him with others. And one time, he calls his young master a liar and they both smirk weirdly. It's kind of a mistery of the manga if we knew it from the beginning the arc of his apparition wouldn't have been that fun It was teased since the saison 1 but no one noticed 😂

Our!Ciel was always treated like a spare and he was unloved by his family which gave him low self-esteem. When his brother died he thought nobody would want the spare twin to be the only survivor, so he pretended he was the one who died and took his brothers identity so people wouldn't be disappointed.

When Joker informs Baron about the Phantomhives death, episode 8, he says the earl, the wife, and child. Not CHILDREN, unless he was interested in only the older brother, but they look exactly the same, so that's strange. This theory is slightly confusing because never once throughout the series, they mention the second brother which is the so-called "Ciel". Madam Red never mentioned it when she tried to kill "Ciel" since she mentions the loss of losing the ones she loved. This theory is odd, it seems like the current "Ciel" was neglected but doesn't exist to the close family but someone asks about his brother. Elizabeth's family doesn't recall 2 brothers but someone that once associated with the family remember them. There are photos of the Ciels but however, never shown yet there are ones of the earl, wife, Lizzy, and Ciel. The manga shows the parents care for both of their children, so why aren't they all in the photo together. What's even more off is the fact Ciels older brother shows to care a lot for him, but when he is brought back, he's fine with him going to jail.
However, I don't think the older brother is going to be alive for long. The undertake fooled around with the tapes, and shinigamis were brought into this, it means what the undertaker has done is wrong and he'll probably be punished for it

It's literally in the chapter 31 and 32. You can clearly see that both twins have different hairstyle - correct with how they are shown later in series when Ciel is brought back as Bizarre Doll. They did extend a little bit the anime scenes to throw it down our throats. But it is canon as author was strongly helping with the Book of Circus adaptation as well. And it doesn't contradict those two manga chapters either.

As far as I heard, the real Ciel was killed about 3 years ago in order to summon Sebastian. His twin brother, who apparently is called Astre, had to watch his older brother get killed on the table. While „Astre“ was in the cage and watched his brother die, he made a contract with Sebastian and took the Name Ciel. I’ve heard that it was normal back then to hide the younger twin from public (if you were in a Nobel Family). So if the older twin dies or else happens, they can replace them without raising attention. Also, I noticed that Sebastian never calls his young master Ciel, not even when he talks about him with others. And one time, he calls his young master a liar and they both smirk weirdly. And yes that may be because he’s his footman and he HAS to call him a title buuuut still

His twin was the true heir to become the watchdog but he was killed in the demon sacrifice ritual. Our!Ciel was always treated like a spare and he was unloved by his family which gave him low self-esteem. When his brother died he thought nobody would want the spare twin to be the only survivor, so he pretended he was the one who died and took his brothers identity so people wouldn't be disappointed.
