Thank you so much for these videos. You are providing a wealth of information. We're purchasing a home soon--the Rockateer. We are cash buyers. One retailer said we should write a check for the entire cost PRIOR on the day we order the house. Another dealer requested a $1000 deposit and finally the third dealer said we can leave 1/2. So my question to you is do you know if there is an amount that we should leave? The obvious decision would be to go with the dealer who accepts the $1000 deposit BUT their house price may be slightly higher. Any idea about the time line on when to lay out funds? Thank you again for this video. I'm taking notes.

Since we are looking in Alabama as well…would you mind sharing what dealer you used? We will be in Northeast Alabama but willing to travel. I want someone who will work with us. It’s a big move for us coming from Australia.

You're so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful. I'm not sure which part of Alabama you're looking, the dealer I used was in Troy Alabama. They were great for the buying portion of my home... they were not so great on the delivery end. Knowing what I know now it might have been better but to put it gently they were misleading in their timeframes. Good luck!
