I really like your vibe 🙂✨ We started knitting at the same time (Oct 2023 for me) And I'm impressed that you're venturing so confidently in lace knitting 😅 I'm scared to do so because I'm impatient and don't like following charts and being super attentive 😆 Anywhoo One thing that would make a HUGE difference is to edit out all the "uhhh" "uhmm" "umm" You don't do it as often as other TH-cam knitters I've heard, but it would help tremendously to make your audio smoother and not interrupted or stilted. Of course, the real solution is to take a Communication course 👍🏾 ✨ Anywhoo I'm suscribing because of your good vibes 👍🏾🙂
Hey Claire! Fabulous first podcast! This will be a journey I definitely want to follow along with you♥️ Great insight into knitting such a variety of yarn combos and gorgeous patterns! That blue yarn makes your eye pop and you need to get some more asap, maybe a Tolsta Tee by Rebecca Chow would be an option. Stay joyful and knit to your hearts content!
Bravo! You are off to a great start. Can’t wait to follow your journey. That blue is gorgeous and you could bang out a Sophie Scarf that as you like a higher neckline it seems you would probably wear a lot. I think you are on a pathway to designing!! Much love.
Well done for a first podcast. You are a natural. I love your colour palette and your projects. I look forward to the next podcast. You know that the Chiaogoo bamboo needles fit on the same cords as the metal ones? You don’t need special cords
Claire, your projects are amazing and you knit like someone who’s been doing it for 4 years, not 4 months! Very excited to see how all of these come out. I’ve never heard of the Italian bind off and I agree it is so nice looking. I’ll be looking that up. Glad to learn something new.
Thank you! I love the Italian bind off, I think it looks really neat and way stretchier than a normal bind off. It definitely is more time consuming but worth it.
I've never really wanted to knit a lace garment cause I struggle with fixing mistakes in lace, but your nature lace sweater is so beautiful that I am now tempted to make one too 🙃
I feel you, it is definitely heartbreaking to try and fix mistakes in lace! It happened to me several times and I almost lost my mind trying to find the mistake and then frog it back. Worth it in the end for sure :)
Claire, loved your podcast and I put all the notifications on my phone so I don't miss any. You've got the perfect figure for your beautiful knits. I'm short and chunky so I stick to shorty socks, hats, scarves, and blankets. I didn't catch where you are located. I live on a farm in southern Iowa. My husband can get tired of my knitting too. Ha!
Lovely podcast! I often struggled with socks that were slightly (sometimes more than slightly) different sized socks, when knitting one at a time. I guess my gauge changes when I'm in different moods. Now, I knit using two circular needles, knitting both socks at a time. Sometimes I knit two sleeves at a time, as well.
I'll definitely have to try that out! My gauge definitely changes based on mood as well. I'm also curious about knitting 2 socks on 1 circular needle at the same time, I will have to experiment next time!
Thank you for watching! The project bag idea is super fun and I can’t wait to make mine. If you want to check it out, there is a pattern by Skaberglæde Maria that has inspired me to collect my swatches for!
Nice first podcast. Tell us a little about yourself, like where do you live? Watching you from Michigan, USA. Love your Lacey sweater and your Lacey socks. See you next time.
I love your first podcast! And I would love to see your sewing progress here in the same place too! Thanks for the inspiration. With love from The Netherlands, Ingrid @leukgemaakt

Thank you so much! The Sophie Scarf was actually my first ever knit project, and I'd definitely love making another:)@@roxannetarjan1411
You had me at the opening music and the efficient intro.
Gotta set the cozy vibe for the video of course! :) Thanks for watching!

Thank you! :) I had no idea that the cords fit both the metal and the bamboo needles!
You're a knitting savant to have only really started last fall! Great 1st podcast!
Hahaha! Thank you so much. I’m excited to keep growing and learning as a knitter :)
Fun podcast! Glad TH-cam popped you up at the top of my feed! I love to sew so that would be great to hear about your sewing. Take care!
Thank you!! I’m so excited to learn how to sew and start sharing that journey as well :)
I’m trying sooooo hard right now to not be influenced by online patterns but ooooooomg the lace knits have me… influenced 👀
I too am very influenced by the lace patterns!! They are so much fun to knit
