Gen 2, Gen 6 and Gen 9 are my favs!!! Some of my favorite pokemon are in those generations like Sneasel and Sylveon! Gen 9 was the set I fell back in love with pokemon and this time it was with my kids.
Gen 1 is my favorite. My favorite Pokémon isn’t even that popular. But the episode with Sandshrew, and his trainer running their own gym was very inspirational as a kid. I feel like that episode even motivated Ash to become better, and think differently.

It was also the first Pokémon games I played. I love Gen 2 and 3 as well but Gen 1 will always have that special place. Now that the 151 packs have just came out and I am getting back into card collecting it has been amazing to relive some of the nostalgia and videos like this make it so much better!
Have to say my favorite has been obsidian flames. My son recently got into Pokémon and this is his first deck he is working on. He has had some awesome pulls so far, and he is hooked!!
Gen 1! I use them in my special education classroom as incentives for working hard. Kids love going through my old collection and picking a card out at the end of the week.
As a 32y old gen 1er myself, I have to say they did some great work on Gen 2. The Pokemon still looked and felt like "real pokemon". After that I kinda lost interest in Pokemon (shame on me). I came back for the Pokemon GO rage where I certainly broke some records for most kms walked in a single day... :D love those Pokemon GO moments where you would just meet in a park with friends and start walking for hours to catch Pokemon. I never really collected Pokemon cards other than when I was a kid, but with the new 151 set I'm back in the game! Thanks for your content and joyous videos Leon!

The other generations have some great Pokémon in them but no matter what Gen 1 will always be my favorite because it's where it all started.
I know not it’s very common, but Gen 3 is so good. The story, the legendary Pokémon, all the way to the starters. Personally I am attempting to get a GBA Sp 101 model so I can play it again.

Gen 9 has some really really cool pokemon in my opinion! The graphics for scarlet and violet just make me feel so angry. This company makes BILLIONS, and yet it can't provide better graphics and gameplay than indie companies.

I grew up with Gen 1 so it will always top my list but it's amazing seeing all the artwork from all these sets. I remember pulling a shadowless Charizard when i was 9 and its still one of my best memories...sadly lost it in a house fire a few years later. Trust me, im still devastated lol. Gen 3 no doubt. I get chills anytime the music starts to play. I vividly remember sitting on the couch to finally play sapphire. So many fond memories.
Gen 4 is my favourite! I remember always watching the series on TV when i came home from school. It also brings back the memories of me getting pokemon tins from this generation for succesfully completing my swimming school. Thanks for bringing the memories back up and keep up the good stuff!
