- For the first time in 2021, I made my way down to the Surf, Bays, and Canals of Delaware for some summer salt-water fishing. With the larger game species migration long passed (Striper/Blues), I decided to essentially target anything that would bite. Tackling the Delaware Seashore State Park, Cape Henlopen State Park, some Canals, and even Brodkill beach, I managed to catch 15 or so small-ish fish inlcuding Croaker, Spot, Flounder, Bluefish, and a small Shark. Nice little 1 day trip - hope to return soon.
Thanks for sharing. Many of us are landlocked and cannot get out right now. LOL. Good day for you. A bad day fishing is always better than a good day working..
Bruh, are you afraid to touch the fish 🤨
correct
1st fish is a kingfish they are in the croaker, drum, grunt family I believe
I fish that beach a lot. 3rs, correct?
thx for sharing, what time of the day is the best to catch?
Haha!!! I fish that spot regularly in the spring ..... if the dolphins were close, they were probably herding the short bass into the shallows.
Also, if the wind is at my back, I'll definately be chucking flies with my 8 or 10 weight.....
Northern Kingfish - Good Eating. They don't get much bigger.
Bay fish were croakers.
Southern King Fish aka Whiting
are the croakers good on grill?
I can tell you what all those fish are. Dead. Ha. Haha. Hahaha....ahh.
The first you caught was a southern king fish
Little guys are Kingfish. Great for fish tacos.
