I think many players underestimate ice in regular pve content. Ice has the best shadow hits in the game and does not hit as badly as people say it does. It just takes 1 extra buff to match storms damage.
*sad ice main noises* as a forever tank player from the first game i played, tank is my beloved. i love being able to solo the vast majority of the game by just going slow and steady with almost no worry of ever dying. it also forces me to be more creative than any other school while soloing *and* lets me do something other than fight with other players to hit. i love getting to buff a hitter into oblivion while shielding us and casting debuffs against the enemy. i like not having the stress of hitting hard and having perfect gear and instead just get to boost them to stupid ranges. also the aesthetic is 10/10
One disappointing thing I have found with higher level fire spells is the split up DOTs. I was very excited to get my darkmoor spell until I realized fire from above was changed to DOT and is split across 3 timers. If it was just 1 like with scald, it could have more use, especially if you add fuel before hitting with it. but the split DOTs are very annoying to use in pve

Soo, my current maxes are Death, Fire, and Life. My wizard currently in the spotlight is Myth, and he’s in Mirage. The rest of my wizards, Ice, Storm, and Balance, are pretty much almost done with Polaris. I will take this video to be very informative, and I look forward to maxing all of my Wizards one day!

Myth is good. Myth is actually very good. Just because storm is a better direct hitter then myth doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Play myth. The utility is amazing and most definitely usable.
@soracities101 I'm in marleybone as of now. I'm trying to bulldoze to level 30 and then I'll work on farming,side questing and smaller things. I feel like it's a good stopping point

best thing about storm battles are quick either you finish in one round or you die in 3 hits lol

Fire can also cheese some high cheat bosses with dots besides belloq. And storm is good but if you are a new players its not that great until later on

only good thing about ice is that you don’t have to worry about dying but unless you want to be in celestia in 3 years don’t play it
