Ragaros?
I am hoping that they keep these new lands mysterious, even as we explore them. All too many of WoW's expansions over-explain their setting.
Underrated comment
I'd love the feeling I got from games like Genshin Impact when it came to exploring. I had no clue what the next turn would reveal, what hidden areas or treasures I'd find... I'd absolutely love that in WoW. Exploring the game world to find unique and hidden areas is what is most fun in games like these. New World does a good job of that, in my opinion.
@@erikholum4772yeah way back, i got that feeling from aion. No idea what was around the corner
Got that feeling from vanilla, and still do to some extent in classic. I like how in classic the leveling is linear, so even though I've played everything already it still feels mysterious to level up each time. You can't just run into Azshara from Durotar on a whim. Seeing those ?? Skull NPCs in the distance is always nostalgic.
It would be cool if kaz algar was kind of like broken shore and the final raid for the last patch of next expansion. The rest of the expansion is set in old world Azeroth, and we have to explore to find mysteries. All of the dungeons are an extra wing added to existing dungeons. Like whaling taverns, black fathom depths, even deadmines at least that would make the old world relevant again
Shadowlands at least had some hype...Dragonflight was like "who is the villain", "why are we where", "what is the story again".... who cares i swear i never felt like this in Wow
I'm calling it now. Tyr will remove the sword from Azeroth. Revealing the underground kingdom of Kaz'Alghar which we now must help deal with the problems caused to their society by the sword impaling half the kingdom.
I'm really curious about that green dragon. Tends of thousands of years isolated, almost cut off from the Emerald Dream, could lead to a very unique type of dragon.
Imagine they do some sort of "Hollow Earth" type Story. So in that case, we wouldn't find a new Continent but a entrance into Azeroth. The "New Land" is than on the Inside of the Planet-shell. In the middel of the "Sky" we can see a HUGE floating body. The Titan-Embryo of Azeroth glowing as bright as the sun it self (so its not completely Dark inside).
OF COURSE we could also see the tip of the Blade Sagaras stabbed into Silitus (and wounded Azeroth).
But this new land is nothing to cheer about. Becaus as sayed its only ruins.
We would find out that we just thought the Titans had defeated and locked away the Old Gods, but that only applied to the surface of Azeroth, not the land within, whats heavily infestend by the Oldgods. This would be also the place where they acually live and where there Roots came from.
I know it would be a WILD twist. But at least it would made a good fanfic lul
Man, I just want the Dance Studio.
Or in air PvP 😂
I wouldn't be surprised if we found out that Tyr's death was orchestrated by Odin. They knew each other all too well to play into each other's weaknesses and I could see Odin laying a trap for his "buddy"
Bellular's lore speculation videos always get me hyped up and make me want to play retail, but then I sign in and... well, I sign out.
I would be logged in 0-24 if it was f2p and read every questnote/lorebook in game but for $15, I'd rather just watch videos about the game and find out whats going on from these videos 🤣
@@951001ifyayyy come on bro. If you play for 15h/month it’s only 1$ an hour and we both know you’d be playing much more. It’s well worth the money if you can play beyond m+ and raiding.
I loved the lore from “Day of the Dragon” book of the gryphon riding wild hammer dwarves and how they interacted and fought off spring of the red dragons, be cool to see an interaction like that.
Oh yea that shit was CASH.
regarding inside the Emerald Dream -
Aviana holds domain over mother tree G’Hanir, resting place of winged creatures. perhaps an opportunity to interact with an uncorrupted version of Galakrond? it’s a great way to flesh out some much needed Wild God lore (recognized by older player base) while getting the chance to learn about the forces behind Gala’s corruption / relates to the power Iridikron seems to be bargaining with (appealing to the newer player base)
with Druids being soooo heavily tied to 10.2 with the updated forms, it would make sense to take influence from their legion artifact “G’Hanir, the Mother Tree” & make it a relevant place we visit within the Emerald Dream.
Hopefully they actually give us a decent expansion wow is still the only game i come back to yearly
Island/Continent hidden in mist/storm, "northern" invaders being repelled, sole dragon probably staying there, algarian... avalonian... are we going into Arthurian cycle?
I want to find a new continent and when we arrive instead of just landing nicely and setting up camp and killing the locals instantly we just get absolutely destroyed and have to regroup and plan it out.
Like the opening of the expansion is a siege and each zone has a boss with an army that needs to be beaten before any camps or bases are built
@Cerfpve Legion already did that.
@@laertesindeed Kinda. We got our asses kicked but still had a foothold and a number of friendly locals to establish ourselves.
Imagine if during TBC you had to fight off the invasion then push along the Path of Glory and kill a demonlord before Thrallmar can even start to be built.
Like WoD and Legion?
@@tanrata8658 Apparently you did not play Legion. Legion did exactly what you suggest. We didn't even arrive by ships before we were totally defeated in every possible way at the broken shore, and we had no foothold there at all. We were morally defeated and militarily defeated, and had to run away to the broken version of dalaran to start from scratch. It took months before the story acknowledged us establishing any control of the four zones, let alone still not having any forces or any foothold or any presence in suramar or the broken shore or the tomb of sargeras at all... that would be months later than that. They've already done what you claim.
I wrote this in another forum.
I know the opinions about mist of pandaria is divided. But I for one loved that expansion.
Felt like we explored something new. A continent with it's own history and races both villains and good guys.
And how we as Horde and Alliance affected the people who lived there.
Though we faced Sha and other outworldly creatures. I felt mop was more grounded in theme.
Dragonflight while a new island felt somewhat like something we already knew and returned home to in the form of Dragons and Night elves lore.
I hope this new continent is more like mop. New,something for us explore and lore lovers.
Maybe even something new that threatens to ignite the war between Horde-Alliance. The prospect of a new continent maybe a new home.
Or something common to fight for?
But I do hope it comes with something new.
I'm with you on Mists. I stopped playing when Cata released and came back at the end of Mists before WoD came out and I was very sad that I missed out on the expansion I loved Pandaria and its lore and zones, beautifully made land in that xpac. I really hope we get a feeling like that again.
It'd be cooler if these little tales they've spun up were found in the distant past, like... Legion timeframe. That'd have allowed it feel more natural, unlike this habit they have of introducing completely new lore out of nowhere that is simply there as a direct tie in to the next expansion, and semi retcons a lot of pre established lore and information. I'm sure this random green dragon nobody has heard about prior to DF is suuuuddenly gonna be found in one of the new zones next expansion with her brood (LE GASP!) and give us some questline that's typical of the standard stuff. "I'm being attacked by these new monsters blah blah blah, help me, tell me of my brood and how they've been blah blah blah" idk, just too predictable imo. Just like with the Jailer being pre established out of nowhere through Sylvanas in BFA, it just feels silly when they introduce this stuff right before the next expansion.
Tyr says the Erenithria's story will bring doom bc maybe the Old Gods are using her story and her memory, and they are infecting the dreams of the people of Azeroth and "it's a trap!"
5:01 that's strange, doesn't Alexstrasza says át the beginning of the dungeon, that the disc contains knowledge on how the aspects could regain their power?
Even so, Tyr gave them thier power. He would know how to restore it
Blizzard really has something special in the other side of Azeroth. The new lore, people, and architecture could be some of the most profound and interesting lore they've ever developed. Here's hoping they don't shit the bed.
They also got some lose ends. Chromie just defied the titans by altering the true timeline. She saved Nozdormu, he was meant to become Murozond and we were meant to kill him. We no longer walk the path the titans intended for us.
I think you mean, lets hope Microsoft doesn't shit the bed.
@@Soma6372 This. I seriously doubt some bureaucrat from Big Daddy Microsoft is going to post up at Blizzard HQ and demand story changes.
I think wow will probably get more resources under Microsoft.
@@damg91195 Yeah, I can't see how unshackling a being tied to time's flow won't have any side effects that might possibly turn him into murozond later now that his path is "his own"
Very cool video Bell. I feel like the narrative of the next expansion can be quite good, considering how well they are building up to it in Dragonflight. Cheers to almost 20 years of WoW.
I love videos like this. It reminds me of the one about the Nathrezim from early Shadowlands. Just really cool stuff all around.
after watching this it makes me realize odyn could be the baddie that's actually ALLIED WITH the algarians, and using the storm to keep us ignorant. Odyn finds out we're escalating all his hated dragons, tyr shows up and not only explains his intentions, but defends us against Odyn--now pissed and defensive, they fight and we win. he runs of and absconds to our next expansion. Leading him and the storm allies as the new 'primalist' faction for next xpac. Also leads us into the continuation of the other narrative with light v void, odyn and tear both being embodiments of the light in order.
3:54 This is MY problem with World of Warcraft. In that quest, you were supposed to be alone with a paladin who is always resting there to protect the tomb of Tyr. But for some F reason, Blizzard does not create a buff or something so you could be alone there with the NPCs. It totally breaks the immersion and I HATE THAT IN EVERY IMPORTANT QUEST. I basically wait 2/3 weeks until the new quest came up because I don't want to see people in my "YOU SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE HERE RIGHT NOW" quests...
It is the little things right
Unpopular wish: I want a new species of Elves! A mixed Egyptian/Arabian theme would be great, uldum and the odd dog people was a waste of barely used unique aesthetics. A playable desert race would add a great new flavor to game aesthetics.
Vulperans
@@jamesfoster7854 not the fluffy cute animal creatures though 😬 something more serious
A place were winds come from... sounds a bit like Earthsea stuff from Ursula Le Guin :) It was also about dragons...
As long as the new maps don't feel like playing in a hallway. I miss being able to see 100 yards.
To the west...always to the west.
Manifest destiny wow edition
“The East is beyond your grasp.”
Oh wait, wrong Blizzard franchise 😜
It's the last place WoW has not gone yet lol. We went to the north, the south, space, the afterlife, different planets, different timelimes. The only other places are the sky and underground.
I really wish Blizzard would develop some tech to stop datamining all together, PTR only gameplay. no books, text, loot or dialog. Keep the world and future content a mystery. I fricken hate how much future content that's spoiled. Sure it would poise some issues but I'd rather deal with some bugs in the game and have a completely unexplored world then have stuff leak out early all the time.
What if the relic that iridikron took is the key that removes the barrier to the other side of azaroth
i wonder if they will do a Ragnarok kind of event but with the titans in wow
Tyr will give us all paladins, Emerald dream might give us druids, next expac elementals will give us shamans to all races?
But I still want to see a void paladin : o, and our Murloc race.
A void paladin is an oxymoron
We can only hope
Go play custom private server, that sounds worse than shit
08:03 this has the smell of a 10.2.5 new renown type of event, to prep the next expansion
My whole issue with this stuff is that the Alliance has a space ship...oh yea i know we just forgot about that but SURPRISE that space ship can see the WHOLE OF AZEROTH. It should have been relatively obvious for YEARS. I will have fun with it but it's quite a bit annoying to be treating things this way.
I read somewhere that 10.2 is when the final chapter of Tyr's questline will be released so soon we may see what comes of all this and what will be revealed by Tyr
I want my Kul Tiran Pali now lol
Same dude. Fatman retribution friar for the win.
I just want normal flying and nothing underground or underwater.
I want no flying in WoW. Thats why im back on Wow HC
@@DrHakennase thing is you don't have to. Play however you want. I have hundreds of mounts. I want to show my rare flying ones.
Maybe we can FINALLY get player or guild housing????
We don't want housing, housing doesn't make sense for any of my characters.
@@Soma6372 It absolutely does revolve around me..... undeniably so. Irrefutably so.
Getting a 10.3. Evil Tir. He has been tampered with and he made a forge to restore himself like a lich and thier phalactery
Nah, go do the infinite dungeons, it has already been covered.
So my prediction now is Tyr will sympathize with us and show us how to get to this new continent seeking out the “heretics”. This in turn will piss off Odyn, who will get involved. This will give Iridikron an opportunity to kill him. WHICH THEN will be like an algalon moment where it lets the Titans know it’s going, so that will get them to come back.
i noticed that tyr is made of stone and odin is made of some sort of metal
Technically speaking Tyr is made of magical silver.
What about the Black Division?
The images of the questline in, for example 4:11 are spoilers? O I just missed ALL THE QUEST in the 10.7 lol
Yeah you missed
Ok the Dreaini have starships so couldn't they see everything that is on Azeroth? Sin.
Mists or a constant storm occluding view. Ori visible only to Titans
If you have spaceship tech you can see through that stuff with tech. We just recently discovered some things about jupiter's surface and under and we don't have space ships.@@jamesfoster7854
Why does the new tabard have a GOLDEN hand on it? The SILVER hand was already Tyrs tabard.
Probably because the Silver Hand tabard already exists and they wanted to make it very slightly different so people who did the Shadowmourne quest don't bitch.
They could've changed the blue then. Changing the silver of the hand changes the entire meaning. Silly.@@lightwarden.
I feel with blizzard it's like playing roulette in a dark shady casino....
Ah yes, the great mystery of Whatis Toocum. Be interesting to find out what is going to be next after dragons. Gotta be time for something new, but more in-universe than Shadowlands
To be honest they need to start seeding new villains into the story, rumors or something about stuff going on else where.
The keepers fight each other by smudging they shoes 😭😭💀
I think classic plus will become more relevant to the future of the game
So we made a spaceship to traverse galaxy in legion but can't see what's on the other side of azeroth?
thats what im thinking too lol
Best for us to not think too hard on this haha
It's either invisible or shrouded in a storm or musts. They explained this in Pandaland already.
Mists. Shrouded in mists.
I agree so much with the idea that it was Odyn who sealed this place off ... after all this is what the Primal Incarnates accuse the Titans and their followers off, to seal away what they can't control.
Edit: Just noticed that this place and whatever it is must have been shut off even in the dream ... now this is crazy.
Hell yeah brother Odin Gigachad
I just want to know when Pandaren druids will be playable and when we can roll Tuskaar
I just want to know why anyone would want to play a panda
I hope never❤
Chinese themed animal forms sounds neat. As long as you can be a siberian tiger. All I'm saying.
More story binge video! Lets goooooo!
I personally feel a little let down that Tyr is just another AI super robot like that big baddie in SL.
Imagine Tyr is a final boss of 10.3. If Titans want to hide what is beyond storming sea, he will want to stop us by all means.
What if “turn the key” doesn’t mean physically turn but metaphorically “turn” the “key” ie: Tyr, but he “turns” him evil and eventually pushes him to usher in the void
Also more quotes for “evil”
What if odin and tyr are brother or maybe share the same creator that are natural opposites? Which is why they bicker and but heads on most things?...idk just spit balling but either way his memory disk is being hidden because more than likely those dragons dont want ppl to know they have a secret island where they do the nasty every season or maybe thats where their source of power lies...time will tell i guess lol 😅
I just can't relate to these story beats. I really wish we could go back and do Warcraft prequel stories for the next 10 years to get away from the mess that is Warcraft in 2023.
Warfronts demonstrated the tech is viable. Tabula rasa this shit.
What's East of Eastern Kingdoms?
t would be quite funny if both the games FFXIV and WoW both have a new expansion which is set on a brand new continent located west of the current known game world and also released approximately at the same time period in 2024.
Warcraft already did the storyline of going to a brand new continent in the west.... back in the 1990s... it was called Kalimdor. Nobody cares about your ff14 and it isn't inventing anything new in any genre.
It's like he can see the future.
World of Warcraft : Beyond the Storming Sea , bookmark it
Prediction: dragon flew across the sea long long ago, had a shit ton of baby dragons, generations of unmentioned incest later, there will be two factions of dragons. One will be evil, one will be good.
This seems like Blizzard has some real compelling lore coming up! Loving it so far!!!
I agree, Blizzar- erm, Activis- erm, Microsoft bot!
We are going to Valinor!!!!!
We can portal or teleport to other planets, and the Shadowlands, but not across the sea? Sus
If odyn is a storm god was up with Thorim?
Yes please give me an excuse to go back to nightborne favorite place in WoW
I love me any Odyn lore
I’m just waiting to see MasterChief land on Azeroth and wipe the entire planet.
Inb4 the new world is already in the techno advanced civilizations tage
The lord of ravens will turn the key
Stop doing the bs of falsely claiming that Tyr is hiding any ethical problem. Him not wanting to encourage dragons that he cares about from going west of kalimdor is not some kind of sinister villain plot. Rather, if you were Tyr and your other allies among the titankeepers and any titanforged friends like earthen or iron vrykul were constantly being murdered whenever they tried going west of kalimdor......wouldn't you say to your dragon friends that going west brings only ruin? Wouldn't you protect them from unnecessary death?
A secret is only as good as the one that keeps it. Mysteries was Tyrs biggest strength. Dogmatically saying that no one should go there and it will bring only ruin when Tyr himself already knows there are rebel clockwork dwarves and vrykul there makes it seem close-minded and blindly faithful to Order's agenda.
There are dwarves and humans there. They rebelled for some reason. One might conclude then that anyone else going there would bring only ruin to.... Order's agenda. Rebel dragons would be disastrous.
Why deny pirates and yet not deny classic + and all other speculation.
How could this Dragon raise her own brood across the storming sea? Doesn't she need dragon doodle sauce for that?
Reptiles lay eggs - maaaaaybe she was already infused with dragon doodle before leaving and laid some eggs, i dunno lol, possible!
@@elenan.407 inbreeding. Gross
Loved this video. All lore videos you do but this one especially was so full of intrigue.
With all the talk of rebuilding and finding tyrs memory disk, i hope the titans are just constructs. a case of an AI gone rogue. They may have good intentions but they seem to be arrogant as hell. I never liked them and im honestly hopong for their role to be severely diminished in the future.
Travard. T r a v a r d NOT Tavard.😂
U guys ready for azerite 2.0? XD CHAMPIONS THE WORLD ITS BLEEDING
11.0 we go across the sea then 12.0 world revamp bet
Awesome!!
this sounds really epic ! :))))
OwO looking kinda cute bell. A illusion, what are you hiding!? :)
Ayy in here early, always love the lore stuff!
Give me a Tyr transmog please.
absolutely no faith for WOW. It's time to end it.
Bellular, Blizzard refuses to tell a story with the characters they have, the ones they have years of history with, what makes you think for even a moment that they'll tell a story with these characters. One of which they introduced in a book between raids?
This is awful story telling. It's literally at the level of back-door pilots on old sitcom shows. And as this abysmal writing drags WoW further into being a laughing stock and mocked for its writing I hope you remember that you have a hand in its downfall by fawning over this regurgitated slime instead of calling it out. Talking about some worthless green dragon like we didn't go through a whole expansions worth in dragonflight with little more than a wink and a direction to the audience to feel a certain way before ignoring their existence.
As someone who began playing in dragonflight it is so hard to find any good lore videos. Those that are there are all from one channel that has problems with narration and pronunciation (good if you want to fall asleep maybe). Watching these updates I do see that there is a deep lore behind all the things. But it is conveyed so bad in game. Like who is Galakrond? Everyone talk about him but we only see his corpse in one dungeon.
There is no lore in dragonflight..... they don't have any competent writers. Galakrond was from mists of pandaria as his final descendants being used by garrosh's evil horde; and before that in wrath of the lich king we had storylines visiting the skeletal corpse of galakrond in the dragonblight zone, and before that Galakrond was talked about in a paperback book published outside the game.
I missed wow soo much but they ruined it :( no reward on endgame. nothing to grind, pvp so dull, soloq dull, u get gear and thats it ? just getting arena ratings ? for what?
I'm just not interested in this. And that's probably just me. I'm just not interested in this kind of lore. I really want a scourge or scarlet crusade expansion. Something with a scarlet crusade that has taken over Lorderon all the way down to Arothy Highlands. I don't want new zones, I don't want new races. Just give me the old world and some kind of scourge or scarlet crusade to fight. If you want to throw in a necromancer class I'd be okay with that.
More dragons?? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Iridicron is a dreadlord, mark my words
Not sure who you are talking about. But Iridikron was made by Yogg-Saron.... which is why he has a visage form (no other dragons have visage forms other than aspects and direct descendants of those aspects) .... and every single one of the primal incarnates was made by Yogg-Saron.
Please make a new dance dance revolution.
This channel… wows dying! Wows back! Wows dying! This is going to be the next best thing. So much click bait

they rushed this xpac like so many others, such a failure
wtf? DF is by far one of their best and their player retention numbers are exceptional. If WoD was anything like DF then it would easily have been known as the second golden for wow
I have been playing since vanilla, and i will say DF has been one of the best expacs ever
@@michaelkovalsky4907They cut out a raid tier... AGAIN
Sorry but I cannot get myself to listen to all this convoluted mess of a story. You're telling it in a great way though. It's the lore. Holy moly is it boring and complicated and long... so long... so incredibly long... winded.
The current lore is bad and no one cares if the majority of people playing the game just play for mythic.
