  • Here is a step by step video on how I installed a t track in my workbench. This simple addition to my shop is an upgrade that is going to make it so much easier to accomplish simple tasks in a fraction of the time.
If you get anything out of this video, I hope it would be just how easy it is to install a t-track. It truly is a DIY that any one can tackle with minimal tools and the proper safety equipment.

A year late. But the storage of holds by using a strip of track… genius!

I'm going to have some leftover track, and now I know what to do with it. Great idea. Thanks!!!

Nice simple video, I subscribed. I'm just starting out so looking to learn from everyone. I'll definitely look at your cabinet vid once I'm ready to add those to my shop.

That’s the best way to learn! Take things you like from different people and create your own style that works for you! Glad you’re here!

Which router bits do I need to make T tracks please great video too 👍

The router bit width should be the same as the T-track you are installing. And then you can adjust the depth of your router to the depth of the track so it sits flush with the table 😃

What kind of bit did you use?

Thanks for sharing... looking for similar idea. Just curious if the stop @6:36 could be made tighter since it appears to have moved when the board was hit up against it?

Hey Ben! The stops are really nice and I highly recommend them! I could have tightened the stop down more, but I was in a rush to get different camera angles for the video and didn't twist it as tight as I usually do. 😂 If you tighten them all the way down, they don't budge.
