If the man who stabbed the young man to death makes it out of prison, if indeed he is, he should find a way to provide for the children left behind by his actions, otherwise his own family will be pointing to his own grave and there will be wailing and weeping in his own home. The young man who died can’t come back to life but atleast to reduce the pain in his family who are deeply heartbroken, this would be a wise choice.

I just wonder what works in this country. There's a guy that was wrongfully convicted of murder in KZN. He did jail time. Whilst in prison new evidence was unearthed that proved his innocence. On the strength of that evidence he is out on bail. His uppeal case against his conviction though can't proceed as for that to happen, transcripts of this entire case (in court) can't be found, it's missing. In law he remains convicted and that affects every aspect of his life. Same case here. I wonder just how would the appeal case go ahead if court transcripts for this case are missing. More shocking is that varnishing of court transcripts has become the norm. Cry the beloved country.

It would appear that Flava’s murderer got what appears to be a harsher sentence than this guy, because Flava enjoyed higher profile and status in society than the other victim! It's true there was foul play. It will be ten months in prison and 4 years 2 months. He was sentenced for culpable homicide instead of murder and sentenced to 5 years with supervision. Someone was bribed.
