The Analogues perform 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill' by The Beatles during an integral rendition of The Beatles' White Album at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, August 24th, 2018.
Lennon said that, "'Bungalow Bill' was written about a guy in Maharishi's meditation camp who took a short break to go shoot a few poor tigers, and then came back to commune with God".
The entire white album what originally meant to be called "A Doll's house" and to contain songs masquerading as children's songs - heavily inspired by the second part of Donovan's double album "A gift from a flower to a garden" from 1967. This is probably why they brought Donovan with them to India. "Cry Baby Cry" is another example from John of a song written in this vein - and "Piggies" is an example from George.
Gracias a estos The Analogues, he conocido canciones desconocidas de The Beatles. Jamás las había oído y me parecen buenísimas. Me sigo preguntando; cuando actuarán en Catalunya ?

This story is told in the comprehensive A Hard Day's Write: the stories behind every Beatles song, by Steve Turner (Index Books).
Another awesome recreation! too perfect to be called a cover.
Except for the part "all the children sing!"
I love your music. All You are fabulosos. I send You My greetings from Cuernavaca Morelos México to you.
Salu2
Julian Lennon is sitting in the audience ;D 2:43
Great job! Especially love the ending 😅
Expecially love the spanish guitar intro :D :D :D "look ma no hands!" :D
John proving that he could write silly Paul style children's nursery rhymes.
There's nothing to do with that. John composed Bungalow Bill mocking a guy they've met while in Southern Asia in their spiritual ventures.
@@Asmuk Whatever it's still a silly nursery rhyme Asa.

Love the Beatles,
I've already pointed this out - but this video highlights it - the BASS PLAYER is essential to this album. Love you Bart!!!!

Looking for beatles version . Good job tho well done
👍👍👍
I honestly thaught the guy performing as lennon was liam gallagher
1:47 Yoko Ono´s meowing (original)
Even Yoko sounds good here.
Esta canción tiene un gran parecido a "Michelle" de Paul McCartney.
En una parte es parecida a Im so Tired
Even The Beatles themselves were not so close to the original!
Hey fabulous Fred, what have you read? The least inspiring effort ever.
pressing a key and out comes a phenomenal al di miola solo. No bloody rock musician can play that. Pathetic cheating
The original Beatles recording was indeed using a pre-recorded solo
@@akbarakhiruddin8058 On John's mellotron
it’s performed exactly as the original beatles sampled it
