I'm so glad you're ok Nanny Di! Mark you must be such a comfort to your Mum. Being in hospital and feeling ill can make us feel vulnerable, but I'm sure being together was a great support. Sending hugs to all the family xxx
This one hit me hard as I'm going through the same thing with my mom. Mark, you handled that visit so beautifully. You listened to Nanny Di, heard her concerns, questioned and prepared for the appointment so you could be her advocate. And you lightened the mood in so many brilliant ways. That being said...
I was dying when you started in on the "renal urology " thing. By the time Nanny Di got to her "therapist " remark, and you replied "that got dark," I was in tears. So funny and so nice to hear Di is doing well. ❤

Mark, your mum has the most interesting place to live, I absolutely love her uniqueness, she’s amazing 🤩
I take Amitryptiline and pregablin. What Nanny Di gets sounds like what I get. I have neuropathy but bought on by chemo - head pain sounds the same; I shake and have pins and needles. Brain scan was normal so fingers crossed Nanny Di will have normal scan too. X

Cherish every moment with your mum Mark and your parents Nads. I lost my mum 2 years ago and miss her like mad, I only have my dad left and trying to make as many memories with his as I can with my two small children. X

I have Myasthenia Gravis and some of what Nanny Di talks about resonates with me. When you mentioned your mother or grandmother not sure which ...you said her eye was half closed well that is a sign of MG...just a thought as I have that and trembling and shaking at times. So pleased it's not Parkinsons.

Nanny Di could be having migraines,I get headaches with vision loss and my hands tingle and go numb.The Doctor called it Occular migraines.Nanny Di should have her eyes checked.But what they need to give her a Cat Scan,MRI,and a MRA.
