  • In this video, we create an awesome patio in a backyard. We excavated the old soils, put down a gravel base, reinforced the concrete with 3 different methods and stamped the concrete to give it a stone look! This was one of my favorite patios we've ever done, and it always helps when the homeowners leave out a cooler! #construction #landscape #concrete

The Busch light in the cooler was a cherry on top, that's a good homeowner who understands😂

You are 100% right! 95% of my job we don’t use fiber mesh, or rebar! The key and the for a concrete is the base and if you don’t agree, just do your own thing and let us do ours
I’ve been in business 10 years and amount the repair that I need to be back is not even close that were you guys think

I well compacted base and wire mesh on a patio is really enough and adding rebar is overkill but overkill is also the way I build so I approve, sir.

You should keep rebar and mesh at your shop it will help you save time and money

That’s the plan. Going to make a big rack inside so it doesn’t rust

I agree, only as good as the base. If you don't have solid base with positive drainage, steel up.

263 a yard!!!! Holy cow! I pay around 175$ contractors price in pa, And if work for you who cares what the recliner experts say! Do you man!

That’s factoring in all the delivery fees and environmental. The concrete is around there but my yearly expense divided by number of yards was that high

    263$ a yd!! Wow..I'm in north east Ohio its 179$ a yd....

When I said that I meant that’s what it costs to be delivered. So taking all the fuel surcharges and environmental fees into account. Our concrete itself is around there but when everything else (fiber, mid range, accelerant, etc.) gets added that’s what it came out to
